I think it's complete bullshit that you are forced to do the raid if you want to get to 300 and over. I shouldn't be forced to find 6 random people who I don't know and struggle through a raid that's not fun because randoms keep dropping out .WTF?

Exactly that's my problem, I get half way the raid and everyone leaves because they want to play crucible, like WTF, I spent my afternoon trying to do the raid and everyone leaves!
-
You've never even completed a raid so you can't really use that excuse
-
U dont need past 300 if you dont raid. U can do everything at 300
-
Nightfall and luck.

My friend is 302 and he hasn't done the raid

This may help you although you do have to raid at least once per character. 310 artifact It starts with The Taken War. You will receive a seperate quest that tells you to help Zavala, Cayde, and Ikora with the Taken War. After you finish the quest line you'll receive a quest from Eris for The Road To Kings Fall. You have to kill 3 of the bosses in the raid to receive the 310 artifact. Basically you'll have to beat the raid at least once. It doesn't have to be on hard mode. Lastly, I see that you play on XBox but it doesn't show 360 or One. If you play on 360 and you promise not to waste my time, I'll give you a hand with the quests as I still have to do it two more times. Just really don't care to do them because Bungie seems to make everything take too freaking long...

I'm 304 on my titan and I've never done the raid.

Can I ask a question, if you do not do the Iron Banner and Raids, why do you actually need to be over 300 light? You will not be doing any extra damage in PVE anyways at a higher light.

Iron Banner!

I'm at 296 with my hunter and not a huge fan of PVP. No in game optional matchmaking for raids and nightfalls, etc is a big use case that Bungie should add in my opinion.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von XTempistX: 11/20/2015 4:07:06 PMYour ghosts and artifacts aren't high enough yet. Where you are right now, if you beat the raid just one time on each character, you would be 300+ on each character or play Trials and IB. Random drops from Trials and IB can have 300+ light. You need to do the quest for 310 artifact on your characters.

Iron Banner. Even if you hate PvP, you're just as likely to get a 300+ drop as the guy at the top of the board. And the drop rate us very high in this IB. Just grind.
-
Go in IB i was only 298 when it started this week and now i'm 304
-
I got to 300 and never completed a single oryx raid.
-
If you're not going to do the raid then there's no point to be over 300.

3 AntwortenDo nightfalls. Play iron banner. Gear can go up to 300 and even past that. Both can be done without a fireteam.
-
I got to 300 without anything from the raid

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Jingo: 11/20/2015 4:15:10 PMI agree. Alternate paths and optional matchmaking are needed. Let's be honest, too, nobody who does the raid on a regular basis struggles at it anymore...yet they are awarded top gear. As far as reaching 300..well I'm 307. I raided once and got just enough gear to push me to 300. This opened the door for 310 exotic engrams from 3oC. I've just been infusing legendary gear I like with those 310 exotics. I'd also stick with IB because you can get 300+ gear to drop.

1 AntwortenYou're a gaurdian. It's your job. If you want the light you have to face the darkness. You have to work as a team and do the mission to get the rewards. Find a clan. Make some friends and whoop Oryx' ass. A year ago I had 5 psn friends none of which played destiny. I found my clan, made friends and now raid on the regular. Feel free to friend add me and I'll be on your team. Everybody should have a chance to do raids.

You only need to find 5 randoms since you don't count yourself. Plus the raid has always been mandatory to reach max light. Remember forever 29.
