well that is how scrubs snipe, a "real" sniper will outsnipe you in almost every scenario. for shotguns, there is only one "playstyle" I don't get how people think shotgunning requires "equal" skill to sniping :(

Well shotgunning isn't as viable from such a variety of ranges as sniping. A sniper can be effective at medium to long ranges. And if the mlg players can use it even at close ranges then that makes them a sort of high reward low risk weapon. Whereas shotguns being only useful at close range theyre a high risk high reward weapon.
