Sunbreakers are the new Bladedancers. If I see a team mate go Hammer I back him up immediately, scavenging the orbs and giving the team assist points.
If I see a team mate go Arc Blade, I back the hell away from him because there's a good chance he won't make it out alive.... Let alone generate any orbs lol

I still wreck with bladedancer. It's all about placement.

Yes. You most certainly can still wreck with Arc Blade. Placement is very important, you need to blink, slide, Razor's Edge to survive. However a Sunbreaker doesn't even need placement. Stand in the middle of a crowd, throw Hammer and heal after each kill.....

HoS is OP no question. When I bladedance, I usually blink through a doorway or over a ledge and activate it as I come out of blink. I'm in their face before they can do anything about it. I use Razors Edge to avoid closing the gap or when I'm running out of energy.
