I mean I understand that it's hard for soke people to get a fireteam or don't like talking over the mic but end of the day it's a mess if one person doesn't have a mic...
So how do people expect to complete it without a talking?

1 AntwortenI would like matchmaking across the boards as a OPTION. Meaning, you don't have to include yourself in the pool of people who want it. Press a little button to join matchmaking, press one to be taken out of matchmaking. Pretty -blam!-ing simple! I don't see a problem with OPTIONAL MATCHMAKING and anyone that does have a problem with OPTIONAL MATCHMAKING is just being an asshole or wants to be a snowflake. Have you snowflakes ever thought that maybe some people just don't have friends that game? :O I know it's hard to wrap your head around that kind of concept but some people my age just aren't in to that, sad but true. It's not like you snowflakes make it any easier for the solo crowd wit your ridiculous requirements to even join a team to run the raid off the app or lfg. So why is it that you players, who do all that you can to exclude players with no experience and under 300, are always the chumps against matchmaking?? It's been like this since VoG too, this isn't some new thing that's just popped up. It's been requested by a lot and usually it's always the same chumps that are against it. Surely it can't be experience? I mean yes, it's nice to have someone who knows everything and anything about every raid, of course. Yet, is it really that difficult to explain something before you do it? Is this game mode that Bungie created, the raid, so damn challenging that it's too complicated to explain in the first couple minutes of loading in or even while acquiring a full fireteam? No. It's not that it's too hard to explain, it's because, you, the player are incapable of explaining anything to anyone. You can only do the raids swiftly and well with overleveled teammates who've done it multiple times.

Everybody who has bought an Xbox one should have a mic so there's not really an excuse (ive broken mine and replaced it the same day cause of the importance of communication) i don't know if they came with the ps4. Don't really care about last Gen consoles given 2016 is their cutoff date for usefullness.

Optional is fine, although I would never use it. Ever. If it were available should be a rule that states bitching about it on the forums would equal a ban. Go ahead and believe it would all be sunshine and unicorns if you want, but a successful pairing for the raid would be about as likely as Gally dropping from patrol in year 1.

2 AntwortenThere should be a version of matchmaking. Not a standard queue where people are picked at random, but much like a roster list you see in the tower. Add filters so you can set a minimum light level to filter out what you want, and have it sorted by class. Perhaps another public space that can hold 40 or so people at once.

Depends on the raid. I would like a raid like strike list with more intricate puzzles/obstacles. The new strikes added are a start and not require verbal communication to get things accomplished. Not all of us like talking on mic much. When I strike grinding I'm normally listening to podcasts. Makes the time go by when I need to get some stuff accomplished.

2 AntwortenJust like people want Private Matches. Its gonna be used so little they shouldn't add a feature that will be used by.. What? 3% of the whole Destiny community?
Oh you want to make Destiny an "eSport"? Lol no thanks
I would like to see it as an option. I'm having a hard time putting together 6 people with the same play time to get some raid experience. And LFG is (understandably) full of posts by people who are looking only for other people with experience and/or weapons you can only get from raiding i.e. Touch of Malice. I'd rather take a chance and try to wing it with some randoms. Even if we don't succeed at the whole raid, it's still a learning experience and I'd have a better chance at getting invited to some pre-made teams.

-
why not...Elites and pros dont need to join this way, but for ppl who find it hard to join a team, it would at least give them a chance to learn it even if it would be the hard way.
-
I'd never use it but it could be an option. Just try to imagine trying to do Kings Fall with a match made team of randoms.... Ooh my word, the agony...
-
Optionally would be good. If you're struggling to get a team together it could be handy. You'll no doubt get idiots just afk all the time though.
-
Nightfall matchmaking would be convenient, but I feel like matchmaking for raids would be a complete mess.
-
I would never use it, but if people want it let them have it, it's their funeral.

Bearbeitet von S373N: 10/13/2015 5:19:07 PMYes. We take randoms from here anyway so whats the difference. They should at least make it an option.
-
Yes. They want one more thing to complain about.
-
Heeeeeeeelllllllll no. lol

I honestly don't. Being able to complete a raid with less than five is always fun. Now with King's Fall, we always have 6, but being able to go ahead on a section you can beat with less than 6 and having a friend join in any time I feel is better because you get to control who comes in

I've not tried the new raid yet but I would have tried week one if it had a matchmaking option. I would use the matchmaking option to learn the machanics then get a raid team. I have been watching the videos on you tube but it's not the same as trying the raid itself.

First time doing it with randoms and no mic, made it all the way to daughters. It was hilarious cause they thought I was just being quiet. The second one messages me and finds out I get kicked lmao i wasn't even mad.
-
Let those who need it have it. I think its a horrible idea but hey, not going to effect me at all.

15 AntwortenMatchmaking for Raid: Yes. Yes. Hell, yes. And every since Day 1, yes. Or Bungie could finally add an LFG system to the Tower, to aid finding people. It still amazes me that for a game which Bungie and Activision want you so badly to play as a Fireteam they still offer no in-game method of finding one. Really poor design, guys.

Why not? If people want good teams lfg will still be there, but why not just have it anyway?
