Sun breakers are breaking PvP
I can honestly care less if you want to rage or flame. I'm just stating the facts every other super can be shut down.
This super though? Everyone is like just run away lol that alone should tell you it's OP there is no solution to this.
Run away lose the objective and lose the game.
Just wait until trials you will then see exactly what I'm talking about.
EDIT: I should have stated that Titans did have HORRIBLE supers for PvP. Unfortunately now though the super you did get is absurdly OP
EDIT 2: Well it just goes to show 1 out of every 5 people on here has a brain. You guys do realize that HAMMER OF SOL will be nerfed. Knowing Bungie they will overly nerf if but whatever something has to be done.

5 AntwortenThe problem is that it just lasts too long. I don't care about it being too tough, there's a way to kill everything. It just lasts too long. You can die and get killed by the same Sunbreaker 10 seconds later.

1 AntwortenPeople run from blade dancer, storm calleand golden gun too. You can't run from void walker or fist of havoc. By the time you do it's too late. Nothing is different about hammer of sol.

Ok so the super is really good. But the sun breaker class as a whole is only ok. Nades aren't very good. They still have terrible melee range. Outside of the super they're not good really.

1 AntwortenUse titan suppressed grenades, any super beside gg (buff plz) and bubble (unpoppable perk plz). It'll be okay. The only thing that I find dumb is the tracking on my hammers. That part is just dumb.

3 AntwortenI think SB shoudn't tank a sniper shot, i think that would be fair, on another note Night stalker 3 shot ability shouldn't kill but tether on impact. Quiver is basically panic super that can be shot 3 times, a little unfair in my book.

Supers in PVP are just a fun take revenge gimmick. That's it! 95% of kills in PVP are non Super kills!

15 AntwortenSunbreakers could use some "minor" adjustment, but it's no where near as bad as people are making it. They let out a loud audio queue when entering their super mode. Yet people just stand there, they don't turn and break the engagement and pull the Titan into a choke point or bottleneck, they just engage the Titan like they would any other target. They don't team fire. They don't use their equipment or cover wisely. Literally every tanking clip I see of a Titan Sunbreaker racking up multikills it's because people are making themselves sitting ducks. I'm at work, but I'm sitting on footage of a vid showing tactics for shutting down both HoS and Stormtrance. Should be up this week sometime. Also, people keep comparing HoS to golden gun, saying HoS is like having a gg with double the shots and health regen on kill with tracking ammo. They forget Gg has more range and accuracy, overpenetrates, combustion can instakill nearby enemies, and all that can be done without being in the middle of the fray. HoS takes skill to be accurate with cross map. Ideally you need to put yourself up close to the action, opening yourself up to team fire. I'm not saying it doesn't need tweaked, I'm just saying it's nowhere near as big a deal as people are making it. You hear "dong," you turn and run, drag the Titan toward teammates and a chokepoint. Team fire. Use cover. Make the Titan run out of time before turning and engaging. Lots of ways to counter. Won't work every time, it's a super. But you CAN outplay HoS with just a little bit of sense and strategy. TLDR: lower their health a little, but otherwise no that big a deal.

4 AntwortenYou're right, the super is op. But that's the extent of it. The subclass is built around buffing the super up. Unlike other subclasses, it only has 1 passive perk not for the super. Pretty much, hammer of sol is op, but sunbreakers are balanced.

So they have a solid super, the rest of their subclass is mediocre at best.

I know. Went into mayhem earlier. All I did was get hit by hammers. Literally it came to a point where I died like 5 times in a row. Cause I'd spawn in and immediately there's a -blam!-ing hammer in my face. It's bullshit.

There is more to Destiny than PVP. People need to relax. Every time someone whines and Bungie nerfs something to cater to the PVP elitist crowd, things break in PVE. It's not that serious, you'll get rewards either way so just play.
