Something funny my buddy said about Destiny
One of my friends and I were taking about the expansion and like most us he has a few gripes about the changes being made, it was just funny the way he expressed it, he said;
"You remember when the iPhone 5 came out and the charging port changed. That was really annoying because everyone had to go buy all new chargers, adapters, mobile battery packs, iPhone docks became obsolete, etc. We all wanted the new iPhone but nobody was happy about replacing all their stuff.
Now imagine if Apple did that every few months....................thanks Bungie.

1 AntwortenBad argument. If you bought a new iPhone you got a cable with it. If I buy TTK what am I getting? New content but you're taking my content away. Oh and apple also made a adapter to help in the transition. What has Bungie done? Nothing.

8 AntwortenThe iPhone 5 changed basically nothing about iPhones jn general, the map led you in the exact opposite direction you wanted to go, and cost several hundreds of dollars to buy. Come back when a dlc when a dlc only adds five new weapons, crashes your system every time you try to play and costs a hundred dollars per DLC and then your analogy will be valid

2 AntwortenI'm with you on them making our gear obsolete being bullshit but the upgrade that Apple did with the lightning cable system was awesome. I went from a 4s to an iPhone 6 and couldn't believe how much faster the charge times and transfer times were. It was a worthwhile upgrade made after many revisions of iPhones. Not after 1 revision. We had a very long time with our old transfer cables since iPhone came out. We bought docks and used them because it was guaranteed to still be useful and they were for a long time. We didn't get dicked around with a crappy transfer cable and phone and then forced to buy new cable types and docks after one year.
