Okay so let's start
About two weeks ago I was playing rumble and face timing my girlfriend at the same time
and I had won
after the game I got two messages saying "lag switch you -blam!-ing cheater" and "are you that bad that you have to lag around just to win?"
I was confused at first but the only thing I think could have actually caused me to have any type of network issues would have been that FaceTime.
Fast Forward to today.
I'm playing elimination. I'm getting my ass kicked because my team mates apparently only know how to run and look around.
So during the game I get two messages saying "enjoy your ban" and "die lag switching p*ssy"
I was mad at this point because if I was lag switching don't you think I would have done better?
and what I'm really scared about is that bungie might ban me because of my connection that apparently is poor and making players mad.
Is there a way that they can tell that I'm not so they don't ban me?
Pls help

Don't worry bungie doesn't ban players that have been cheating on trials since the first day, they sure as hell will not bother with this.

1 AntwortenYou won't get banned if you're not cheating. You will however get a temporary restriction for having bad connection. Bungie has states that they will and are handing out restrictions for bad connections. The length of that restriction is unknown.

Bungie has already confirmed that people with a bad connection don't need to worry about being banned. So please don't worry.

2 AntwortenIf you didn't cheat then you have nothing to worry about. On the other hand if you did cheat, posting this sort of thing preemptively will have no effect on there decision. Also goes for trying to blame it on Facetime.
