You pre-order from a retailer, who has already done market research and established sales forecasts and ordered appropriately to fulfil those orders. They have already bought TTK in bulk, in various formats, and are now selling that on to you. Bungie already has [i]their[/i] money. The final price you pay is the final price you decide to pay to a retailer, including that retailer's profit margin. So fine, punish the retailers by cutting into their profit margins with your late purchases. That will really show Bungie.

12 AntwortenAM I the only one who feels bad for Deej? He is just the community manager, basically a PR guy. He is the one that has to spoon feed us the sewage that Bungie gives him then we spit it in his face. It's not like he is CEO of Bungie or Activision, just some sad looking dude doing his job. That money doesn't go in his pocket.

I don't blame bungie or activation, I blame the gamers because they pre order the game. The gamers bought it with just promises and glimpse of the game without waiting for review or the game to actually come out. Everyone says you should wait until the reviews and or for game comes out, but no one does. Despite all that I will pre order because I enjoyed destiny.

2 AntwortenLol I play with alot of people online. not one has said they will canceled TTK. actually i is the other way, more and more people getting hyped for it. I know I am super excited. I am a 25 year old male and feel like September 15th is the new Christmas

27 AntwortenBungie single-handedly changed my worldview when it comes to preorders. Basically, they taught me never to do it. After seeing the meager contents of the vanilla game and the DLCs I felt as though I'd been violated whilst bent over a park bench. Never, NEVER buy games sight unseen. Especially anything Destiny related. Wait to see how meaty it is first.

Bungie is just up to their usual tricks of misleading consumers and not providing almost any information about their content. To me that means the content can't speak for itself yet again (as was the case with TDB and HoW). Pre-ordering is obviously a personal choice and you are taking a risk of course that the product could be terrible or not worth the cost, which is totally up to the individual. I just believe that if you do, don't go bitching about poor quality or lack of content after the fact. EDIT: Just to clarify, since it may be a little misleading, I do wholly believe that anyone regardless of how they purchase the product (pre or post) have every right to voice their opinion whether it be praise or criticism. What I don't support is over-the-top, extreme comments that are not put in a constructive context. If we, the community as a whole, want Bungie to listen and value our input more, we need to approach the subject with maturity and constructive suggestions. By putting things in childish and offensive ways, we will turn the PEOPLE working on the other side off from our input. It should be something we strive to improve TOGETHER.

Pretty sure the handful of cancelled preorders went mostly unnoticed by Bungie and Activision. It's really hard to find a needle in a haystack, you know?
