What is destiny?

So many of you just don't get what destiny is. It's not a game you expect everything to be the same in for the next 9 years. Seriously do you really want fate bringer to be your only primary until destiny dies? Gallajhorn being the only strategy against sponge bosses? Or how about variety and dynamic boss battles. I personally am tired of my fate bringer, black hammer, Gallajhorn combo and look SO forward to all the new weapons in the taken king. Year one has been good some ups some downs but a learning experience for sure. It was fun learning the vault of glass back in September when no one knew how to cheese oracles or the Templar. It's been lame that the only way to do Crota is to cheese half the raid thanks to poor design. It was so cool seeing those new bosses and modifiers in the house of wolves! It was lame they where the exact same cycle every few weeks with no modifiers changing. But it felt great beating skolas that first time after the burns where removed, but then we realized how time consuming that can be and just the lack of rewards. But that's year 1, that's the stories us year 1 guardians will tell, no one starting sept 15th will know the loot cave, troll cyptarc(seriously a green for my exotic engram?), the rise and fall of Suros and the rise of the thorn. It's all stories and adventures for us year 1 guardians to tell and experience. Now it's time for new adventures, new OP weapons, new frustrations with a fresh paint on a flawed but fun game. Don't think year 1 was a waste, if you're still here it obviously wasn't, welcome to destiny, where every year will be a new adventure to tell, so enjoy your loot from the past, tell the stories on how you earned it, but remember the funs in the journey not the destination.

  • Destiny is just a monetary printing press. It's corrupt money making scheme from Bungievision and Asstivision. There is a huge difference between Destiny and a real game like GTAV. For those who played the campaign, imagine if Rockstar employed the development strategy that Bungievision and Asstivision employed to build this late term gaming abortion. If Rockstar built GTAV the exact same way Bungievision built Destiny. Rockstar built a story that was expansive enough that they built 3 different playable characters each with their own personal story. Bungievision can barely build a story for one character. If R* built GTAV like Destiny, we'd still be playing through the campaign and no where near done. I can guarantee you players would have bailed just like they have in Destiny.
