Should I give Destiny a second shot?
I stopped playing Destiny before the DLC even came out because it was getting a little boring and newer games were coming out. But lately I've missed it and heard about the Taken King. So are the DLC worth the money for me to try and get back into the game, and would I be stuck constantly under leveled because everyone else has higher gear?

No. Bungie has no idea what they're doing. Nothing is consistent & it's just DLC to DLC.

Hopefully this TTK beta test will fix everything from the alpha test of year one but I'm not real confident. Bungie has no clue what they are doing with currency, leveling of characters and weapons. All your gear n equipment is gonna be obsolete when you do go back. If you feel like grinding strikes and crucible then it might be for you. I just don't like how they are forcing us to play the shittiest parts of the game.

You'll level up very quickly. Right now, it's all based on your equipment after level 20. It's not hard to jump right from 20 to 32. The Taken King is looking better all the time. It'd definitely be a good time to start playing again.

CE is kinda worth your money. HoW is definetely not worth your money. And if you buy both you'll reach lvl 34 before TTK launches that's guarenteed because it's really that easy.

I recommend if you have friends that play to do it. solo play is hard and boring. also you could join a clan and make friends to get raids and other stuff done
