So while everyone is talking about xur and ghorn and constant threads of people talking about leaving destiny for so many stupid reasons, I just found a legit one. people won't be able to upgrade their year one legendaries wen taken King comes out. Goodbye fate bringer. Goodbye sweet looking Titan vanguard armor that makes me look like boba fett. All that grinding for nothing. This is the reason I don't like most mmos. If someone is leaving for that reason I'd actually understand. Not saying I'm leaving, but what drew me to this game was that the gear I worked towards would stay with me. Once I found this out I thought why in the hell would I buy anything at the tower, knowing it's gonna be worthless soon. Now we're going to be all looking the same again it seems. I don't care if I have to jump through hoops to upgrade my gear and use different gear to do so. Watch, I'll run out of vault room like I did last time, delete my lower level gear, then they'll let you ascend it again in a new dlc after taken King. Can BUNGIE just not get more creative with their new gear to make you want to get it? Appearently not so they have to make your old stuff worthless Thoughts?
