See, I loved my Felwinter's Lie. It didn't have Hammer Forged, it didn't have Aggressive Ballistics, and it didn't have that slide perk. It had Field Scout, Final Round, and Shot Package. I'd spawn in with enough ammo to last, and I'd get 7 rounds with every Special Ammo box. I didn't need Hammer Forged because the reduced Special Ammo in Crucible didn't affect me at all. Lost it to a glitch. Replaced with a Battlerunner Judgment VI. Loving it, especially the Red.

4 AntwortenThe felwinters from before house of wolves is the best shotgun in the game, along with the judgement from before the house of wolves. The reason is, back then you could get hammer forged on a shotgun. Not only does hammer forged improve the range, as that is visibly seen, it also improves the accuracy, which is how tight of a spread the projectiles happen. This can be proven by the description of hammer forged saying [b]improved range and accuracy[/b] however, the shotguns after the dark below do not have the hammer forged perk. To improve the range of the shotgun, the three perks are smallbore, rifled barrel, or reinforced barrel. While these barrels improve the range, there is nothing on them that says they improve the accuracy. Because of this, he spread of shotguns after the dark below is not as tight as the spread from shot guns with hammer forged from before the dark below. That is why the old felwinters and judgement are two best shotguns in the game.

The increase in ROF over Matador is a larger gain than the shred of impact you lose, and I've found MUCH better success since switching to it from both Matador and my OG Felwinter's. I still OHK with ease, but can actually recover from a missed shot, or get that double kill when needed, where in the past I was stuck spamming R2 and my weapon wouldn't shoot yet.

I like secret handshake because it shoots very fast and it has as much range as a matador.

I can't say because I haven't used my Felwinters. It has the exact same perks and stats as my matador though. Right now I think that with my Matador having 4 rounds and final rounds is better than Felwinters with 5 rounds and final round.
