Look, I'm not saying I'm expecting you to go around offering to sacrifice yourself for people. However, you don't have the slightest instinct in your body to risk your life for someone else, even if you don't know them? I know this is an imminent death situation, but if I know I would save an innocent baby, I would do pretty much anything.

I simply place a greater value on my own life- I'm not ready to die for just anything or anyone.

I wouldn't. I would value you a grown adult over an infant any day. If my girlfriend was in that cliched situation where I have to pick her or the baby she is carrying, I pick her 10/10.
