Just saw some posts trying to say shotguns take more skill to use than snipers. In what world??
Edit: final round snipers are dirty bad kids that give snipers bad names.

I think everything takes skill. Sniping of course to get dome but a good shotty user knows how to keep people around corners just the right amount of time and knows how to keep them just the right length away. Nothing special to get a shotty kill and then get murked. The good ones can take out 4 dudes all rushing at the same time by using old school halo wall jukes and good timing / awareness. Also doing a 360 after blinking and heads shorting a guy with your shotty is a blast.

Lots of snipars overuse past round, but it is really nice gettig two headshots then a body shot wiping the others team.

2 AntwortenI dual snipe on my hunter sometimes. NLB and Longbow. No final round perks. Loads of fun followed by rage.
-
4 AntwortenI respect snipers. Not shotgunners
-
Even if sniping is harder, it's still a joke compared to other shooters.

I use Black Hammer to proclaim to the universe that it was not a Final Round that killed you. And then I get sniped in the back of my head.

You can't just dive in with a shotgun and expect to massacre everyone. It's impossible to compare two completely different weapons in terms of skill required.

Queenbreakers Bow is really fun to use.

4 AntwortenI only use snipers as a special, PvE and PvP. Never owned a final round sniper and probably never will. Snipers take the most skill. Even though I suck on all levels I rather quit PvP than become a shotgun user. I think I have 330 hours played since launch and less shotgun kills than hours played. Overall. I should get a -blam!-in medal;)

Whoever says either of them take no skill has no idea what they are talking about. A skilled sniper/shotgun runner will kill the unskilled one. You won't do well in the grand scheme of things unless you have skill with your weapon of choice.

Final round snipers are basically shotguns that you can fire from a long range.
-
Even with final round snipers take more skill you still have to aim shotguns can be just pull the trigger when an enemy is on the screen
-
They both take skill, I don't really see how they are comparable because they are completely different strategies. Also, I don't have a sniper with final round but using one of those is a good strategy if it works.

Sniping takes skill, but it makes you a complete douchebag if you do. Kind of like a kid running around with a blink hunter with thorn and a shotty.
-
I do not support excessive special usage to get all ur kîlls, I don't have a probable with any of it as long as u don't over do it with specials. Primaries to me it doesn't matter, but I am a thorn user

3 AntwortenQueenbreakers bow definitely takes some skill to use. You basically have to land every headshot or you die because of the charge rate but as long as you know how to use it, it can dominate in crucible

5 AntwortenI use a Final Round sniper, Efrideet's Spear. I use the final round as a last resort for sticky situations though.

Bearbeitet von GemCutter: 6/8/2015 2:46:29 AMWell if I need an iron wrath bounty (10 kills or assists no deaths) I pull out the sniper. Can't say this easier but it's safer IMO. Gotta have the right map and the other team "playing along" though, if you know what I mean.

Only final round users!

2 AntwortenSnipers take more skill. That being said I think it takes skill to use a shotgun effectively.

Only ones id say font are the high rof 100 stability ones that allow you to spam shoot.
-
3 AntwortenEven final round takes more skill than a high impact/shot package shotgun.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von Blue Sojourner: 6/8/2015 1:43:50 AMYeah shotguns are definitely easy to use, all you need to do is run up and boom the other guy is dead. That being said, the shotgunner needs to get from point A to point B, then close the distance between them and there target. Now if the target is not aware that the shotgunner is following them that's great, pretty easy kill, but if they are, totally different game. First you need to be able to predict what way a target will run, right, left, up? Second, when you do follow them correctly, are you ready for the shot? Because if you miss, that's it, you're open, the target will then have a free pass on damaging you until you can ready another round. Finally, say you took the shot and the target is down. Yippie, you got a kill what now, wait to reload in case the target was actually targets? Reload and stay vulnerable? Say a target shows up just out of range? Now what? If payers in Destiny were a little more cautious, playing with a shotgun would be a different game all together. Snipers are pretty easy too, given that you can kill a dude from another state. That being said there are some things to consider. That being said, the sniper needs to get from point A to point B, then find the distance between them and there target.
