except the Templar is supposed to be damaged with weapons not kill barriers.

I have no clue what your talking about....

re read the conversation, in one situation we have people pushing the Templar into kill barriers(ie off the edge) and another we have people killing a boss with high damage weapons before it can use its mechanic

It wouldn't matter if gallehorn was used or thunderlord or thorn its the fact you are avoiding the boss mechanics
