Today's way of endgame matchmaking.
1-Pick up phone/go to computer
2-find lfg app that's wasting space on my phone/go to lfg site and scroll scroll scroll
3- find a group that doesn't require the freaking max level everything
4- once you find the group go into the message friend option on the console
5- try to spell the extremely long and ridiculous name of the person in charge of the group.
6- wait for response
7-get no response
8- repeat steps 1 through 6
9- finally get response
10- get Into group
11- halfway through RANDOM group people go afk or group fails.
12- repeat steps 1 through 11
The way it should be......
1- start game
2- push matchmaking button
3-play game
Anybody that already has/had a group bypasses all that and skips to "play game" people without a group still get to play. Neither route has any less randoms than the other. Everyone's included.
Disagree all you want, but there is no argument of merit to the contrary here.
::update:: So far the best any of the anti-MM crowd has come up with has been "but randoms would lose.". I'm not even joking. Lol.
::update 2:: Mulldoe has taken over for Slickrick876 in trolling the thread pretty hard, in spite of the lack of a point in his rambling. Read the subthread at your own risk. Fool is a week behind, still trying to be relevant. GrandmaBlackout got his dumb ass muted for trolling as well.

1 AntwortenI never understood why some things like the vault of glass required you to find your own team and meanwhile crucible seems to do automatic matchmaking just fine so why not put that same coding into the raids so I can actually see what the hell is inside the gd vault of glass

3 AntwortenAnti MM ppl have no facts or real reason not to support MM. Its OPTIONAL Match Making so like i said there is NO reason to support it. end.

1 AntwortenI an a strong supporter of optional matchmaking but first they should fix there bad servers that I ,a 13 year old, could make better servers than them so fix the servers then THEN add optional matchmaking

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von CheapDatezz: 5/27/2015 3:08:04 PMI don't understand anybody's argument with optional in game matchmaking. OPTIONAL being the key word. How is that any different than pairing up with randoms from any outside LFG site or even the Destiny app?! It's not. Random is random is random. The only difference is that in game matchmaking would save us a lot of trouble

I have friends I run with and I have used the forums. The only excuse for bungie not incorporating optional matchmaking is pure laziness. RNG is an excellent example of how lazy they are willing to be. Optional matchmaking would improve the game for many. Though I may not use it, I have no argument against it. It would not affect me, it would be "OPTIONAL". Some ass hats floating around on the forums appear to be illiterate at the very least, confusing optional with mandatory. There are a few things in the game that need worked on. Maybe with optional matchmaking more people could experience these things and help get bungie to hear us and fix it. Maybe that is why bungie won't put optional matchmaking in the game, to many of the players would get to see the issues with the endgame content and they don't want their forums filled up with posts about the issues.

46 AntwortenThat is a lot to say for you people being too -blam!-ing lazy to find a group. There have been 0 reasons for and many reasons against matchmaking.

17 AntwortenI know how the main argument for optional matchmaking is that we simply don't have time to form a fireteam from a matchmaking website or on the recruitment forums. My question is, but you do have time to spend 5 hours trying to do a raid with people who are afkers, trollers, underleveled, using crappy useless weapons, and are just clicking on the icon for the raid on the director for the first time not knowing what to do. Also another argument that you guys use is how are people you get on lfg any less random than people you were to use this matchmaking. People that you grab from lfg are a lot less random than people from matchmaking because on lfg I can see how experienced, how good weapons people have, if they are leveled enough, etc.. On matchmaking on destiny itself you have no choice who you are playing with. I would love to argue with people until we come to a solution.

Matchmaking wouldn't hurt anyone that uses LFG sites. It would only provide a means of finding other people without having to leave the game or tolerate the elitist requirements. Making it optional would be even better. There's no good argument against having optional matchmaking for all events.
-
3 AntwortenLook if you don't want randoms bring a team plain and simple you can continue to use Lfg I spend about 5 -10 minutes per game on lfg

6 AntwortenJust ran the weekly heroic with randoms and they died every time I revived them. I basically killed everything by myself. I would have rather done it solo wouldn't of had to worry about reviving them.

38 AntwortenNah, too many AFKers and trolls around for endgame matchmaking to be a logical option. Honestly if you can't put together a team from your friends list you just haven't made any effort to improve your own gaming experience. Also bungie have an inability to make matchmaking optional which would have a negative effect on many many people.
