Bugger everyone who uses thorn in crucible
Try using a diffrent hand cannon asses see how many kills you get then

I got sick of the Thorn soon after it was buffed. Now, I've started using different weapons. The NL Shadow 701x is pretty good. It reminds me of the Covenant Carbine.

I just started using it after being sick of dieing to it constantly. I'm also keeping it fair by getting close every once in a while. I don't know...I'm just tired of getting blasted by it...I do agree about the green screen though, that's kind of dumb.

I don't use it but after a ton of losses it becomes necessary to shove it back in there face

I am loosing this game to a thorn god I wish they were using a gun that I could beat with my op gun it is what it is. Counter it if he has thorn pop out shoot him back up if you get shot thorn isn't over powered at all I have thorn and I prefer vex or red death which are still "over powered weapons" but I'm not going to use a rare auto rifle just to let you win,

2 AntwortenLol I prefer an auto rifle but Bungie messed those up because of PvP crybabies. I'm not the best at crucible so I worked hard for a month to earn my Thorn. Every kill I get with it is a reminder of what I endured, which included getting killed by a lot of different weapons. I never complained about any of them. I have a friend that dominates in crucible and he never uses the Thorn. He uses the Mida and regularly gets 24-28 kills per match. Go earn you a Thorn.

2 AntwortenHow about that Last Word and its false range stat. I've been hit with that gun from so far away in the regular Crucible, it's pretty much a high impact full auto scout rifle that you hip fire. Bungie needs to nerf the exotic hand cannons, well at least Thorn and Last Word. Have no experience getting killed by Hawkmoon cause you know, exclusive.

I don't have thorn but it doesn't bother me. Just stay far away and strafe. The reason they're shooting you is because you're in their sights. Stay out of their sights. Use the environment to your advantge. Trick them into a ambush. Example: I use this tactic and 90% of the time it works. Watch the radar and when you can tell someone is about to turn the corner or if you can tell they're waiting for you, jump as high as you can before turning the corner preemptively and unload from above. Seriously, NOBODY expects it! It's not about their weapons, it's how they play and how you react to their play style. Don't try to be the offensive dude every time. That gets you killed. Wait for them to make the first move and adapt to the situation. This principle works for anything. War, martial arts, chess, etc. React, don't PRE-act
