OVER ALL EDIT: so it's been established no one really wants trading. That's ok but for a small minority just know I was just asking a question! Some need to chill
So a lot of speculation is going around about HoW. Would you like to see trading implemented?
Being Honest it's probably guaranteed in the Comet a the game will have enough weapons and gear to actually be different from each other but do we want it as early as HoW or shortly after that? Let me know! (Instagram: TisRnbwz)

I would like to have trading but only in a way it won't be taken advantage of so maybe by doing strikes you earn trading points and as you save up auctions can be made for wepons or even only trading between your clan
-
1 AntwortenIMO an auction house would be nice. Set minimums for some items. Trade materials.
-
10 AntwortenNo but raid matchmaking would be nice

No, simply because it devalues drops and there is no sense of achievement. What I'd like to see instead is performance based drop chances. For example, in Crucible the highest score on a team has a 1% chance for an exotic and a 2% chance for a legendary, lowest score in the team has a .01% chance of either. Something like that...

OP HERE :Guys just to be clear I'm only asking you guys a question so the Devs can really pick what's right for Destiny and her players. I'm not for nor against the idea.. I'm just asking. And do those wondering I've seen something about trading , by one of the Bungie team on some social media. I've no proof but I've seen it. Sorry.

1 AntwortenNah. If Destiny had a supremely wide assortment of loot maybe I could be behind it but it doesn't so...
-
1 AntwortenLol trading in borderlands 2 = dup guns for days
-
Nope, there's no story content in this game so if I could trade for the weapons I wanted there'd be nothing left to compel me to play. The daily grind of raids and weeklies to get loot are the only real reason to play this game, take that away and it's pointless and boring.

I'd like trading if it only took place after raids/NF/Weeklies/Strike playlists and you would be able to trade at the rewards screens and you'd only be able to trade things earned during that event with your fireteam members with about a 6 minute time limit and traded items soul lock so they can't be traded again. I don't think marketplace trading would work in this game as of right now because it's too few weapons. If we had around 100 more weapons and exotics were a lot harder to get then it could work, but the way things are set up now it won't work. Everybody would have everything with an open trading marketplace.
-
Tbh everyone has so many exotics, I don't think trading would even affect this game....but in order to balance the game I think they would have to make you sacrifice a material for it in example; strange coins (3 or 4)
-
Yes. My friend needs a Gjallarhorn, I have 2. I need a hawkmoon, he has 3. Trade a Gjallarhorn or a a Hawkmoon. It's basically even. We can only hope though.

Yes, would make the game more social

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von TeslaDoc: 4/26/2015 8:30:54 PMNo. It would absolutely ruin the economy. It works best when Bungie occasionally balances the economy. Like they will do in HoW, with trading resources. I know it's not a popular opinion but I don't think they should allow trading. It would also turn daily and weekly strikes in to ghost towns. Even raids. People would speed run those for profit.
-
Trading would COMPLETELY ruin the game. Literally the entire point of destiny is focused around grinding and getting lucky, both of which would be destroyed by trading. There would literally be no point in playing the game. The only people who actually want trading are people that suck and they aren't good enough to do nightfalls, raids, etc. It would basically be rewarding people for being bad! Even if trading were only an exotic for an exotic and so forth, it would still be horrible. Someone could just buy whatever gun xur has and trade with their buddy to get a vex mythoclast or g-horn! Everyone would have everything and the game would be ruined.

Trading would work of all the exotics were equally useful, and if they were more rare. As it stands, a noob could get all the best gear from their friends with duplicates. If it were more rare or more of them, thered be less duplicates. Also i dont care how many nlbs you trade me im not giving you either of my gallys. Thats why they all need to be equal

Not a good idea at all
-
I honestly believe a trading system would diminish the Destiny experience. And I'm not sure Bungie will ever implement one.
