The stream was AWESOME
Seeing all that new content with some lighthearted jokes thrown in? GREAT!
I loved it
I just think it's SO funny how much flak Gothalion is picking up from this stream...
Where's your sense of humor people!?!?
The stream was funny enough, all this hate on Gothalion is even funnier

Ummmmm tell me again what was the purpose of the stream? Last time I checked it was a DLC reveal not X-Factor or American got talent?! Stop judging and watch the stream :)
-
He doesn't deserve hate. The stream would have been boring without Gothalion or with a youtuber like Datto. Gothalion was asking the hard questions, i'm not sure others would have done the same. This is a game, stop being so serious

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Nanye: 4/25/2015 11:06:41 AMAll the hate comes towards him being childish. If he was childish then tears would be in his eyes while throwing a tantrum and saying: "NO RAIDZZZ. YOU GUYZ SUCK SO MUCH I AM AVOIDING DIS GAME LIK FOR 2 WEEKS IM NEVER COMING BACK TO IT. GIMME GHORN CUZ I PLAYED FOR LIKE HALF AN HOUR." They brought Gothalion in to relate to the community as he gets more viewers regularly on twitch/youtube for the Destiny community. Chris Barrett (Designer guy with black hair? Is that his name?) was generally nervous. You could clearly see it. DeeJ seemed alright. I guess. Stage fright wise. Hard to judge. Gothalion is used to a lot of viewers at once and was easy-going, laid back. You also have to remember this is his profession (His main source of income). He does this regularly and the numbers do not lie. Also Gothalion asked questions and stuff that I myself would have asked. Relatable.
Relatable.
His 'childish-ness' was just him doing his profession and role in the stream. Would you really expect him to be like "Why good morrow DeeJ, care for a biscuit and hot beverage?" Really? Laid-back because its his everyday life. Relaxed because it wasnt really a formal event.

4 AntwortenBruh he don't deserve to get so many hate. He pushed some hard question that can't be answered. To be honest he deserve love not hate, I was also surprise because of the questions he asked.

it was funny and he asked legit hard questions trying to do it in a manner they wouldnt take to much offence and it was really funny to see the bungie employees trying to dodge them. I give him so much credit for what he did and everyone who hates is just a desticle.
-
Ok I'm confused. Destiny community throws crap on deej, telling him about raids, and how much the game sucks. But the second goth sad one thing about the game you guys flip. What does it take to please you guys? Lol
-
I think his type of humor just isnt for everyone. Otherwise haters gonna hate!
-
2 AntwortenHe was funny and just so nervous! He's a fan of the game and represented the fans well. I was hanging in teawrex's chat during the stream, he hosted it, as the bungie chat was toxic and I wanted to be with friends. It was all positive, so much excitement. He represents the community well, asked the questions we wanted asked. I'm looked forward to seeing how triple does, although I don't hang in his stream much.

10 AntwortenFor most people over 18 that hold down a real job I would say he came across as rude and unprofessional. I'm sure the 10 year olds that watch his stream didn't think anything of it.

Everyone calm down and have a laugh

5 AntwortenIt's funny how much people defend destiny lol

Goth=douche

he was funny and I liked the things he was asking and it seemed he knew that this would be extremely tense and he was just trying to ease the tension

I have literally never heard of the dude before now. Not a dig at him or anything, I'm just not very much into following Twitch streamers outside of a very, very select few. But the guy handled the stream well. He clearly went into there with some pre-conceived questions, questions that we the community were interested in knowing, and made sure to ask them. Sure, the devs not so subtlely hinted that he shouldn't have been asking a handful of them, and danced around a concrete answer (for better or worse, we will see) but what is important is that he asked them, and didn't press the issue when inadvertedly told 'stop'. Overall, he was professional, and most importantly in my opinion, he took the stance of "gamer". He asked the questions we wanted, the questions that any long time gamer of Destiny is likely to be interested in. And had a few laughs along the way.

I thought it was enjoyable.

100 % agreed .. These forums are full of haters .. They hate everything, every little thing.. Good thing this hate is just on the forums .. If you wanna enjoy an actual community with good people and not annoying crying kids join one of Gothalion's or Broman's stream chats.. Half an hour there is a much better and educating experience than one month forum roaming ..

I thought he was funny, that "no raid!" comment was hilarious.
-
I think goth represented this community better then anyone else would have. And all his questions he was literally reading from the chat.

There are many people who either A. Dont have a sense of humor B. Are forgetting they are playing a video game and think they are, i guess, working in some stuffy profession. C. Or are just haters for whatever reason. Not sure, but what i do know is that if you have watched Deej in any of the E3 stuff from last year he has the sme "juvenile" sense of humor. Tldr: lighten up
-
I thought it was good. Nice work on pointing out the ghosts!
-
Sadly , he's a typical Tampa hipster. I like him sometimes , other times he's a prick. I've heard from friends he's a good guy irl. Either way , professional or not , he really nailed asking the hard questions. I give him a 8 outta 10 on the streams.
-
1 AntwortenPlanet destiny should of done it they would ask the hard hitting questions and not be a douche about it, having manners costs no money, he might be a nice guy and I do accept you have to be hard nosed to ask the hard questions but there is a difference to being hard nosed to being downright rude
-
1 AntwortenBut he's not funny. He's a 30+ year old man with a 14 year olds sense of humour. That's why kids like you find him funny. My cringe gland couldn't take him after 5 mins and had to turn it off.
