Handcannons Breaking PvP
Thank you Xur for selling LAST WORD yet again to just drive home my point how much hand cannon spam is breaking the pvp experience of this game. And thank you Bungie for screwing weapon balance.
* Edit conclusion: So many salty TLW, Thorn & Hawkmoon scrubs complaining about my complaint. The assumption is that I am a child that is whining an see crying on forums and need to stop calling for nerfs. The fact is the kill feed I saturated with these exotics (note I have no complaints with legendary hand cannons). TLW massive fire rate massive damage (111) massive range yet its proponents declare it "takes skill". Thorn just saw a buff in 1.1.2 now with your screen showing even more green poision effects. And we all know how devastating Hawkmoon is. I speak the truth and the fact is these 3 weapons destroy every other weapon class and cannot be defeated by any auto or scout rifle and arguably trump any pulse. Please continue to speak on the forums of you want a game to play the way it should BALANCED GAMEPLAY NOT COD GAMEPLAY.

As a Hawkmoon user as of now... at start Thorn user, then later TLW user. I agree. And to people who say I just suck, idc what you say, I'm usually around first place when I'm not messing around with NLB and have above average k/d. I'm the player who just run 'n guns. If I wasn't so aggressive I would've easily have a higher k/d.

Maybe put the shotgun away and learn how to play back a bit. I will agree with you that the exotic hand cannons need a bit of work, but the extent of that work is to fix TLW hip fire perk bug which is why it gets 111 when ads and perhaps a slight RoF nerf to thorn. That's it. BTW red death kills in 2 bursts.

Red death has a very similar TTK as those guns, and makes your screen jar around more, making tlw a lot harder to get crits with in rapid succession. Suros is still very strong, but is disregarded since it isnt as ridiculously strong as it used to be. Bad juju is a very good gun for all encounters, and can get some very easy kills. Hand cannons can be countered in so many ways it's ridiculous. Use the strangers rifle and dominate everyone.

I got wrecked all day today by thorn and tlw in pvp but I'm not gonna sit here and make a thread crying for it to be nerfed like 100 other people already have... You had a bad day... Find a strategy that works. Mines sword breaker. I will agree that the sheer amount of people using those 2 guns is unreal; but if you look at most 1st person shooters, there's always 2 to 3 guns that outshine the rest. Goodnight and good luck.

1 AntwortenMy Mida Multi-tool does work on the hand cannon scrubs. Just gotta know how to play to the enemy's disadvantages. I find it seems hard for them to hit me at such long ranges so I stick to long range engagements. Last I checked my KD was 2.0 and I've never used a hand cannon in the crucible.

4 AntwortenUnless the weapon can kill in one hit, there's nothing unfair about it. I'd wager you die often by hand cannons, which is on you. Use cover, strafe side to side, and get the first shot in on the other player.

You're just mad you get wrecked by it. I use TLW all the time, but found the vex to be just as scrubby. You still going to be mad when I wreck you with a weapon that has been nerfed sixteen ways from Sunday?

Well it would be nice to see all weapons be relevant, but oh well. Bungie wants us to use hand cannons so I guess that's what we have to do.
