Black hammer is broken now...
So I haven't seen this topic, if its already out there, I apologize...
Anyone else experiencing the white nail perk not procing a large portion of the time?
I hit every shot as a precision shot on the devil walker (I avoided shooting when he was "immune" so that's not it) and I ran out of ammo because it only proc'd twice out of the entire magazine.
I've noticed some other issues too...mainly with HM crota being even more unplayable now...but black hammer is by far my fav weapon and I would really like to see it fixed.
Edit: it happened on other enemies too, not just the devil walker, that was just when it was most obvious.

It has happened to me as well, on a number of occasions. Swordbearer during Crota fight, Devil Walker for Sepiks Prime, etcetera. It's rather annoying.

Nope. Soloed it and the walker was dead really quick. All shots worked. I got MMT for my trouble.

3 AntwortenYa.. the same thing happened to me last night..so I just use PinT. So I just used IB all the way. after PinT was run out of ammo.

3 AntwortenI noticed it still works....even on immune....but if you shoot an already broken leg that does about 700 yellow damage....that no longer counts? Anybody agree?

During this time is when I noticed the perk didn't work like it used to. EDIT: I noticed it big time on Sepkis Prime. All three hit, but the perk didn't kick in.

I think while they were in there fixing the problems people did have with it, they also "fixed it" to where people couldn't spam unlimited ammo in these exact circumstances.

Yea I've had some problems too, still works good but was def better before the patch. I don't know why they had to go and mess with it. Don't recall anyone ever complaining about it.

Yeah I've had it occasionally since the update, but its working more times then not for me.

Same thing for me. Prior to this last update I would always use mine on the walker, at least a dozen times. Worked every time. Immediately after update it seems to only work about half the time.

Yeah I noticed that. I was hitting the legs with perfect precision and with like half a second between each shot, but the White nail didn't activate. Pretty annoying and I hope they find out why

Same thing was happening on atheon. We'll never get the black hammer we were promised. Can you imagine how much faster crotas end would be if the hive disrupter worked?!? But they took it off right when crota came out...

Of course there's a problem... Bungie fixed the gun so, like with everything else they 'fix'... it's worse now than before! :P

Fine first nightfall, next 2 I used special synths and still ran out....popping yellow damage and no white nail...

Worked fine for me. Soloed it on Tuesday. Immune didn't seem to stop my white nail perk either.

When I got up to the walker on first run, I shot him down using BH and when he died I didnt had lost a single round, perfect kill. I completed the nightfall then started it over and when i got up to the walker I didn't manage to get a single proc of the white nail perk at all. It was so weird that i thought my BH was maybe not upgraded on this character. I had to verify and it was at 331. I then purposely fired three shots on the front leg slowly to be sure 100% that all three shots landed as a crit, and I still had to reload. No doubt in my mind that blackhammer got screwed during last patch as i never experienced that before. It does seem to be random, don't know how the bug happened, but it's clearly there

As far as I can tell, they didn't change anything. Crits on immune targets still activate the perk.

I had the same issue. Was on a walker as well. Watched 3 precision hit counters come up and when to shoot again and made me reload. Was like wtf

I killed him on all three nightfalls with black hammer and maybe missed a precision shot 2-3 times. Also, I kept the chain going by purposefully aiming at the legs, even when they were immune and that worked fine.

You probably didn't get all 3 shots fast enough.
