It's meant for gamers with kids or younger siblings that might pick up the controller when the player is away form it, trust me I seen my friends kid dismantle a hawkmoon while he was taking the trash out
This is useful maybe not to everyone but it helps in the long run

I have 4 kids from ages 3 to 8. Never had an issue. This is a parenting issue not a Bungie/Destiny issue.

Well to each their own I guess One question tho, does it effect how you personally play the game in any way shape or form? If the answer is no the I don't see an issue But as I said to each their own. I'm just making my opinions on the matter known and shearing experiences as to why I have said opinions :)

If it is adding an extra graphic or option on my screen then it is an issue.

You watched your friend's kid dismantle his exotic? Terrible friend. So your saying the kid grabbed the ps4 controller, hit start, used the stick to hover over hawkmoon, then held square for ten seconds to delete his exotic? Liar. Stop trolling.

Followed by an explanation of what had happened, if you don't believe me that's totally up to you :) EDIT: he had his inventory open when he went AFC/AFK

That's an easy fix go to orbit and deal with that shot like every one else man I get it kids will do that but deal with that shit sorry no sympathy when they could be working on something more useful to the game. I'm not saying it's completely useless but there's other things that need fixed more than this one thing

I understand where you are coming from, they have a lot of major bugs to fix I completely agree with you on that however I don't see adding player aid and loot security systems as a waste of time or it having a negative impact on the game. Again no offence it's just my opinion on the matter
