The only exotic primaries that deal elemental damage are the raid exotics.

*Cough cough* Nechrochasm, well, technically that's a raid weapon, because you need Crux, but Husk of the Pit is obtainable without raid so I'm counting that.

Yeah, apparently you have to win 10 on one coin or 25 in total in the Trials for part of the bounty. All in the link.

Agreed. That was datamined, so there's no guarantee it will stay that way. It could very well be obtained in a different manner.
