Than updates would come out faster, because they probably would hire more people to help speed up development.
They wouldn't have to worry on working on a Destiny 2, because they would be getting paid by all their users every month on Destiny 1. Ex: Where's WoW 2?
Destiny would have released with way more content(TDB&HOW might've even been part of the base game). Why? Because games that you feel lied to you(via advertisement) and ripped you off in the beginning isn't worth your time or money.
DLC would just be updates for the paying customers.
Destiny's world would've been way bigger than it is and Destiny's servers would've been able to hold more players in both PvE and PvP.
Destiny would have better servers, because with extra money coming in they would be able to afford better servers(it's not free running servers). Goodbye farm animal named connectivity issues anyone?
Destiny would have had a better story, because simply, getting money every month would be a great incentive to not screw that part of the game up.

I'm having too much fun with this post. Tune in for my next one, If Destiny was on PC...

Why I suggested Destiny should've been a subscription-based game from the beginning? The community is asking for too much and giving so little.
