Gjallarhorn is overrated. Period.
I can't believe the amount of hype there is in the Destiny community about this dumb rocket launcher. There's so many better weapons out there. Take Truth, for example. That rocket launcher fires BLAMMING [b][i]TRACKING[/i][/b] missiles, so you never miss your target! And Dragon's Breath leaves a BLAMMING [b][i]SOLAR FLARE[/i][/b] upon explosion. Anyone who wields a freaking Gjallarhorn deserves no respect in my book - even worse are the people who talk up this gun so much. I'm sick of it.

5 AntwortenYou know Gjallarhorn has tracking, right? With all the drooling on the forums I'm sure it's overrated by some, but it's by far the best launcher in the game. HoC is a distant second. Truth is better in PvP because of aggressive tracking, but that's it.

I love the Truth as well but Gjallahorn does have double tracking capabilities. The (tracking) rockets will detonate into cluster bombs that also track the target thanks to the wolfpack perk which is why I think it's popular. You barely have to look at an enemy and twitch your trigger finger to get a kill (crucible wise).

I think it's beautiful and it's damage is insane. However, I don't believe it's as good as everyone makes it out to be. Example: Last week myself and three other four manned Crota on hard (Three 32's and one 31) not one person used a GHorn. We all used Hungers and we destroyed Crota. Skill and communication takes a group a lot further than one weapon can.

Dragons breathe and truth suck, big time. Upgrading them is a huge waste of time if you have a galljahorn. Hunger of crota is the only rocket launcher that give galljahorn a runbfor its money
