1. I am a Christian and the word Warlock brings up connotations of witchcraft, spells, and frankly dark and Satanic power. Obviously in the game, the Warlocks are warrior scholars of the light fighting against the darkness. And I love how their powers are very scientific and Traveler focused with the use of Void (universe) and actual sun-shaped grenades. It is definitely a unique class, but one that just does not link up with the name, Warlock.
2. Warlock seems to restrict the class to males, since Warlocks can be seen as male witches. None of the other classes only sound like they appeal to one gender. So for greater inclusion of both genders to choose this class, the name change could be made.
I can see this very cool and unique class being called something like a Sage or Scholar, so that it doesn't have any harmful and sinful connections to dark arts, which really should not be taken lightly. Once again, I am a Christian and I am saying that beause that is my worldview and where this post is coming from.

As a Christian you should be able to identify! & as for warlock pointing to being male only if you haven't entered the 20th century even though we're in the 21st as actresses are now actors males can be nurses & air stewards as they're not longer stewardesses! ;)
