Nah he's just a fan of the series, he also loved the Souls series and made awesome videos on that

He actually looked up everything from Bungie's grimiore. Yes, someone at Bungie actually wrote a story and it was good. Just isn't in game, but the guy still wrote the story, and TerraMantis posted it in an interesting way that probably should've been in-game.
