So I'll start off saying I am a Destiny addict. I looked forward to this game for a very long time and have loved every moment of the game. Kotaku put out a good article on hardcore players hitting a wall and they had a lot of valid points. I feel like there are some really basic things that can be done to add some spice to the game. 1) Create more bounties. This is something ridiculously easy to do. Kill 100 dregs. Get 25 sniper head shots. Complete 3 strikes. I mean the possibilities are easy to come up with. And please provide some variety in IB. It sucks knowing I have to at least use an auto rifle and a LMG for part of the day every time I want to complete a bounty. I'm OK with having to use a specific weapon, but give me 30 head shots with a scout rifle, kill 2 enemies at once with a rocket 3 times, etc. 2) Switch the weekly and nightfall strikes. Just cycle their order differently. People get bored of doing the nightfall and then having to go repeat the same exact strike for the weekly. 3) Where are the DLC maps. I'm fine with purchasing DLC, but I have barely gotten to experience of any of the new maps. Back in the days of Halo, it was a pretty quick process once the DLC was released to incorporate the wnew maps in to the regular play lists. You just have a flag on the user of having purchased the DLC, group them together and add the news maps to the hopper for that group. 4) Add additional PvP modes. Again, something not overly complicated. Give me a large and small team skirmish. Where's the capture the flag, one of the most epic modes in Halo. How is this not a thing? CTF created some of the most epic and memorable moments in my gaming experience. 5) Allow for some additional material conversions. You started it with purchasing mats, but put something in place to convert mats to hadronic essence/plasteel plating/sapphire wire. A 5 for 1 deal. Let me turn 5 ascendant shards in to 1 radiant shard. These are just some fairly basic things that can be done to really improve the current user experience. What are other peoples thoughts on some more simplistic things that could be added to provide a little more variety.
