Why so many 32s in IB?
Not that it's a big deal, or a problem.....but I assumed when I loget on tonight that IB 5 would be primarily full of 31s and below seeing how the best rewards are 36 light gear that 32s obviously don't need. Are there that many collectors, fans of pvp events.....what? Just a curiosity.....
Edit: Wow, didn't expect such a response! Really shows different people's motivations. Keep it coming, let Bungie know what you like!
Edit #2: The people are speaking Deej, make the developers understand your players are craving more gear diversity!

4 AntwortenIB is about being the highest level with the best maxed weapons. And maybe 32s want a new look. I for one can't stand the design of Crota weapons and gear. Its all dark and green and scaly and skulls.

Well, considering it's fairly easy to get Raid gear in Crota's End, I think they wear it for the extra defense rating. So naturally a level 32 would have a higher defense rating. How that affects Iron Banner is beyond me, but I'd wager it wouldn't do too much.

Well, I prefer the IB gear over the Crota gear. More prestigious and looks better. And the Scout Rifle is a plus.

Weapons, the 32s want the weapons. That and the boots open up some options as well. If you are running praxic on your warlock, or grenade nipple on your titan. You don't need heavy ammo boots. IB boots give you more flexibility.

Just some theories based on why I still do it. 1) They might, like me, enjoy crucible and are doing it for fun. 2) Collecting the IB gear or gear for an alt. 3) Rep'ing up for the scout rifle because it's awesome and why not. :P

Uuuum did you not see the awesome scout rifle saladin is selling? That's the real prize, not the 32 gear. Also: not a lot to do when you're max level and already did raids/nightfalls for the week..

I went in with my 30 and had plenty of success.. Might try and grind for the boots and hopefully get a lucky drop or two

It's easier when you're 32, I like to dominate weaker opposition so I feel like I'm dead good at the game. I mainly kill lower levels with Thorn and high impact shotguns. True story
