list of all the exotics and legendarys that need a buff

most exotics work but many have inherit flaws, may that be with perks breaking each other lets form a list to get a general viewpoint on which ones still are not preforming to a usable standpoint. I'll start.. [u][b]hunter gear[/b][/u] [b]Radiant Dance Machines[/b] - currently has heavy ammo and the dance 1) heavy ammo = increased reserve heavy ammo 2) the dance = strafing is slightly increased for left and right movement while ADS. + the dance perk need to change in order to work in another place other than PVP, add a permanent +2 to agility on top of buffed movement speed in any direction while aiming [u][b]ATS/8 ARACHNID[/b][/u] - currently has light the blade, ashes to assets, and arachnid sensorium 1) light the blade = grenade damage reduces melee cool down 2) ashes to assets = more super energy from grenade kills 3) arachnid sensorium = zoom with golden gun + arachnid sensorium should make golden gun track targets like a rocket as it fits the description of the exotic helmet and give it a free perk into key hole to double stack perks [u][b]weapons[/b][/u] [b]No Land Beyond[/b] - currently has mulligan and the master. 1) mulligan = has a chance to return missed rounds back into the mag. 2) the master = more precision damage and kills increase damage against next target. + mulligan should be replaced with a return to sender perk with a higher chance of happening. + the master perk would increased precision damage and Every kill causes increased damage against the next target, and the final round is multiplied by the number of kills earned! + remove glare from iron sight and add another sight that has glare on it.. [b]Necrochasm[/b] - currently has curse bringer and range finder 1) curse bringer = has a chance to cause enemy's killed with precision shots to explode like a cursed thrall. 2) range finder = increases effective range permanently. + change stats to match this ROF = 100, IMP = 10, RNG = 25, STB = 40, RLD = 50, MAG = 77 + change the flared mag well perk to explosive rounds (explosive rounds are completely optional but would make sense as the first exotic auto rifle of its kind to have explosive rounds and replace the useless reload perk) + change curse bringer to cause all enemies killed with precision to explode like a cursed thrall instead of some. [b]Dragons Breath[/b] - currently has tripod, and pyromancer 1) tripod = can hold three rockets in mag at once 2) pyromancer = leaves a solar flare on the area of rocket detonation + change the stats to match this ROF = 25, BR = 100, VEL = 50, STB = 70, RLD = 55, MAG = 3 + change the tripod perk to cluster bomb, this will be perfect to combo with the pyromancer perk +replace the heavy payload perk with flared mag well since the radius is at max +change the pyromancer perk to effect the cluster bombs as well and make them leave slightly smaller solar flares around the normal solar flare

    • Things that need changed on this list Arachnid helm: why would it give a perk that a second exotic helmet gives? That's bad design and you and I both know it. Also, GG shots having tracking? You have to think of both PvE and PvP here. That has no use in PvE and could be broken as all hell in PvP. If anything, the helmet needs to be unique. Have it provide Chain of Woe and Gunslingers Trance. That gives people the advantage of keyhole, gunslingers trance, chain of woe, and whatever last perk you want. If the helmet looks like it's benefit precision kills, then make it do so. All hunter helmets excluding knucklehead radar only affect supers. Change that. Dragons breath: I like where you're headed with this, but you aren't quite there yet. Instead of solar flares aka a solar grenade that uses rocket ammo, how about this. Keep that cluster bomb idea. That's good, but change it to MIRV mini which is cluster bombs that hit for more and have a wider blast radius that way it isn't such a basic perk and has better damage output. Now make the solar flare instead be a much bigger solar made, that hits for the same amount but ticks fewer times than currently. Difference? It acts as an actual solar FLARE and blinds enemies that the rockets hit, making them move into the after effect instead of away. Necrochasm: explosive rounds would make curse bringer hardly proc, effectively rendering it worthless. And there is no need to touch the stats on ANY of these guns. The only thing that needs changed on these is the perks, and a small buff to the impact of this weapon. Every other weapon is fine. Curse bringer does need to proc on every critical kill though. Though rangefinder needs to go. It's archetype much more supports glass half full. Radiant dance machines: how about you change the perk completely since it's completely worthless as an exotic in crucible when Knuckle Head radar is so much better, or the Symbiote, or the Lucky Raspberry, etc. Make it so kills temporarily give +5 agility that lasts 10 seconds and is refreshed every kill. This gives you the run and gun tactics that help in PvP for hunters and gives you the advantage of killing mobs in PvE to make it to objectives faster. If that were the perk, if run it in Skolas all the time cause I could kill a fresh with Fatebringer and instantly get to the mine to diffuse it.

        Golden gun already does track targets. Don't you notice the extremely high aim assist that lets an autistic child with Parkinsons hit an apple from a mile away while he's having a seizure? Also, the changes to impact and RoF you've suggested will never happen. Bungie will never tweak a weapon's stats to fall outside any of the standard rof/impact archetypes.

        • I think NLB should have a slight increase in firing speed, maybe take a bit out of range and put it into fire rate.

                          I don't have all the exotic weapons so I can't comment on how they all compare with each other, but I can say that my one exotic rocket launcher, a partly upgraded Dragon's Breath, is inferior to my fully upgraded legendary rocket launcher, Valedictorian. I equip it sometimes to level it up, but when I do, I feel like I'm handicapping myself. When it's fully upgraded, it might be better, but I doubt it will be by much. I have a partially upgraded Thunderlord that so far only beats my fully upgraded Against All Odds with arc burn. But again, maybe once it's fully upgraded it'll stand out more. The exotic primaries (even when not fully upgraded) seem clearly better than the legendaries, to me, but the difference with heavy weapons doesn't seem as great. I mostly do PvE so that may affect my perceptions.

                          • Primary's: Buff Autos Keep Pulse Slightly nerf HCs Keep Scouts, except MIDA, buff it -restore vex to what it used to be but only restore it half way for PVP -Buff NLB and Uni Remote Secondary's: Keep Snipers Slight buff the Fusions Slight nerf to Shotties Heavy's: Keep everything if not buff, the heavy ammo is somewhat rarer drops now but I mean Heavys are quick kills in Crucible anyway so it doesn't really affect us. -buff Truth -keep Gjallarhorn -Buff Dragons Breath Buff Thunderlord and SGA [b]I only covered mainly exotics but when I say buff or nerf just a cat of weapons (autos or HCs) I mean all rarity.[/b]

                              • Honestly I think the arachnid should have a thing like knucklehead radar but with all types of weapons. Oh and Vex Mythoclast needs to be buffed at least for pve.

                                  • Vex deserves its 34% damage back for pve only. Necrocasm needs to have thrall explosions on bullet impacts, higher impact, and 72 rounds per clip. Thorn needs its stability decreased. Dragon's Breath needs to cause burning over time. Universal remote needs more reserve ammo.
