Destiny full game listed as trial
I redownloaded, re activated my account as primary, restored my licenses, and Destiny still shows as "Trial Mode". Has anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Edited by Ghost: 7/16/2020 5:28:24 AMrestart the xbox. turn it on dont sign in. put in the disk. it should pop up on the recent games/apps thing with a disc symbol on it click install. should say disc and network while its installing boom problem solved. by a ghost on a dead post.

Whenever I play destiny it says hat I’m in trial mode even though I hav the disk inserted, I fixed it and played for 2 days then I try playing for a 3rd day and it says I’m on trial mode again. Here is the way that I fixed it before, uninstall the game go offline and reinstall the game give the Xbox 1 about 5 minutes to realize that the disk is inserted then you can play the game! Ps I don’t like to keep reinstalling the game because one time it took the entire day to reinstall.

Put the disk in and run it from the disk rather than the DL

2 RepliesI found a way to fix it because it happened to me. Take the disk out and just clean it and put it in. DONT OPEN DESTINY!! Let the Xbox read the disc and open the game up itself. Then it will force the xb1 to realize you have a disc, and NO MORE FREAKING TRIAL MOOOODEE.

2 RepliesI hope this helps. A friend of mine had trial mode when he go to back on. After reading this, i told him to reinstall the expansion and whole game. When he finished it was still in trial mode. After about half an hour later he realized he didn't even have the disk in the whole time. So moral of the story: Check if you have the disk in.

3 RepliesI got the same problem, i downloaded it and also downladed the taken king but it says trial mode, i cant access any of the taken king stuff or any other missions than russia, when i try, it says that i need the rise of iron dlc, i cant even do the taken king stuff, when i do, it says i need the rise of iron, please help

MY girl friend bought a XB1 and downloaded trial untill she could buy Taken king. I've literally never heard of a company selling people DLC if they didnt already own the game. Fuhck you bungie, how dare you be such greedy bastards. I hope Destiny 2 cost you millions and is the greatest game ever and then tanks hard because everyone knows how greedy and shady you guys are. Way to completely ruin your reputation.

1 ReplyOk so I preorders rise of iron I played it and i got too 399 Warwick 399 hunter and 397 titan. I deleted destiny cause I got mad at a crucible match. Then I re download it again but when I hit orbit I got trial mode like wtf I spent 2 ducking years playing this game ever since it was available too me but your gonna do this too us also it gave me an ad too buy the collection edition I'm gonna call them today

3 RepliesThis is screwed up! i have the collection which it claims it comes with all of the DLC up to date which it doesnt. It only comes with Rise of Iron and The Taken King soo there is most definitely a bug going on besides that i juss bought this game via online with no type of trial downloaded at all for this and it shows its in trial mode soo please if you figure this out lmk !

11 RepliesI really need help!! I just paid for the destiny collection and when I bought it in orbit it shows I'm in trial mode! wtf. I didn't think was a problem until all of the dlc's/expansions show "requirements not met" on every mission. Not just the dlc missions/story the normal ones that come with the game. Luckily I can play rise of iron, but not taken king or dark below or the house of wolves (which I paid for). Its like I have to do the whole story over again, and of course bungie won't do shit about all of their problems so were all -blam!-ed basically. I even re-downloaded it 4 times on my ps4 and nothing changed, oh and one more thing that I love about "Destiny the Collection" is after you buy it and offers you an ad to get destiny the collection, it's like it doesn't even think you paid for it.

Hey guess what Bungholes issue is happening again. If you've found a fix for this it needs to be posted in here. If i cant figure it out in the next couple days Im already seeking a full refund with microsoft. I know to multimillionaires like you it doesnt mean anything. But how about the bad publicity. Am I a huge youtube star ... roll the dice. Either way this is bull shit had to revert my xbox for other reasons now im stuck in trial mode.

Once deleted, Scroll left from Home to open the guide > Settings > Select All Settings > Select Network > Select Network settings > Select Advanced settings > Select Alternate MAC address, and then select Clear. Select Restart. When console is back on, Pull the right trigger to scroll down, and then select My games & apps > Scroll right to the Ready to Install section >Highlight the game for which you have an add-on, and then press the Menu button on your controller > Select Manage game > Scroll right to the Ready to Install section > Select the DLC etc. you want to install.

1 ReplyI am having this issue. After downloading the trial mode, and then downloading the full game digitally, my profile is stuck in trial mode with limited to no full game features. I do enjoy this game very much but this is a major issue, one that shouldn't be on going for such a long. There should have been a restriction on purchasing the full game from trail mode or atleast a warning about what might occur afterwards. I am sure that a loop-hole like this, which has prolonged for such a lengthly period of time without a permanent solution for future users is a weighty enough matter for a lawsuit against Bungie. Clearly, Bungie is more concerned with making a profit from its consumers than the satisfaction of those same customers. I am sorry that I am speaking so harshly, but honestly, is it fair that various unassuming "Destiny" customers have to stumble over the same obstacle time and time again?

1 ReplyFixed. If you have a nuther account on your system that had the demo delete the account or destiny in the libbary. Redowload the orginal destiny dlc should work.
