Iron Banner. Who's excited?
Me personally, I feel like I'm pretty decent at Crucible. Either way, I enjoy it very much. Some matches I do well in, and some matches I don't perform so hot. I have my bad matches, good matches, and vice versa. The fact that your defense and attack stats really matter in the Iron Banner make me wanna play even more. It's going to show how powerful and agile my Warlock will really be when it comes to it. Whether I do horrible, or well in Iron Banner, I'm very excited for it; especially with all the armor, weapoons, shaders etc that there is to come with it.
So who else is excited for this?

I was. Then I realized it's the same as generic PvP. Level advantages are miniscule at best.

2 RepliesWho has 2 thumbs and doesn't care? This guy. Sorry...its PvP focused and I am terribad at PvP. I just hope the bounties have a few PvE ones thrown in like the Queens Wrath ones had som PvP ones thrown in. Honestly I wish the Queen's Bounty missions had a Legendary Ship you could get...feels like a bit of a rip off.

I'm not. I'd rather have a balanced out mode. No supers, no boosts, no heavies or secondaries. Just you, your primary, and strategy. My best moments in PvP have come down to just thinking through the problem and that only happens when I'm not being killed by blade dancers sprinting me, or getting booted off a control point by a FoH or nova bomb. A game type that clearly prefers higher leveled characters will unfortunately not give me an incentive to play

I am absolutely dreading it, if that -blam!-ing cloak was so cool I wouldnt even think twice about Iron Banner.

Edited by fUll951 : 10/7/2014 1:32:45 AMI think it will be funner than the moaners say. a decent amount of time has passed so most people have decent gear. those who have earned or found good gear get to experience the benefits. and why not? they PAID they played and anyone who enters chose to on their own will. also I think hardcore pve players may just get a chance to use their gear to their "i don't play pvp. because I'm no good there " benefit. I would expect Matchmaking to use lack of pvp experience to match players up.

Really hoping it doesn't make the crucible inactive. Couldn't care less about the iron banner.
