If I ever had a dwarf for a friend, or as a wife in the case that you seem to be implying, I'd ask them, not in a demeaning way, if I could carry them around on my shoulders wherever we went together. I think it'd be hilarious to see a really tall husband and a really short wife going about their day like that. And, you could probably have a lot of fun for Halloween too. Funny enough, I notice a lot of the times short folks and tall folks compliment each other quite well. One to reach up high for things or see stuff from a mile away, and the other to get down low things or easily go where the tall person can't.
