How much you like me.
In the future I would to see a city president. An elected representitive of the community based on 100 in game feedback votes.
A new "government" city could be built. There a destiny complaint compliance agency could investigate malicious feedback. Hours of operation 8-5. Reflected by bungies use of day to night transitions. The top ten with the best feedback can be candidates. Via the destiny app you could research the candidates and make a vote on the poll. Top 3 could hold a public debate with real time talking (we have the capability hardware and software wise.
The winner holds tenure for a week. You cannot hold new than 4 terms. 2 weeks until you get another shot.
So this person can't mess up the game, maybe have different currencies for each planet. Maybe that planet is known for a specific ingame item. The president can affect exchange rates as well as production of certain items. Affecting values for traders.
Supply. and demand kicks in.
I'm sure anyone could run with in many spins.
Anyways I'm tired to think of more. I need a sandwich.
Back to the original question. How liked am I for getting your vote? :)

1 ReplyShit so cray. You better get the tofu!

1 ReplyCharlemagne for president.
-
2 Replies...... I think you're taking the 'game' aspect a bit too far. Just a game- just a game ......
-
1 ReplyI shall be your moral support.
-
1 ReplyWho the fuck are you?
-
3 RepliesSince I am already the president of the last city, I do not allow you to run for office. You will be tried for treason if you do.
-
3 RepliesI don't like this idea.
-
7 RepliesYou have my vote sir.
-
1 ReplyI will only vote Jack Bauer for president and Chuck Norris for vice president. That is all.
-
3 RepliesUh no vote for me instead.

As far as eve, and the division goes. There are so many versions out there, so many unreleased with the possibility of not getting released, no offense I don't see how they are even relevant to destiny. Of course if I'm wrong just show me! :) Star citizen really is a sci if sim game. I don't see how your actions would have any effect on the whole community. Once again I don't see any connection to destiny, and if I'm wrong.. Show me. First off destiny is the first shared world shooter in my opinion. When in an open environment random people drop in to play, I don't know of ANY OTHER GAME that does that. Unique!!! The only comparisons we can make so far is WoW. You can play together, you can trade items, go on raids, but I don't see how the concept of shared applies. Just to make a team you have to go through a lot of trouble. Dropping me in to a setup shared world makes me happy. If I'm a lone wolf, then bye. If I'm a lone wolf, the waving, and pointing gestures are so unique, does it get any easier? Borderlands - I like how people are so greedy with weapons. Once again UNIQUE loot for everyone removes the "I can't believe that just happened" factor when someone kicks you to steal the loot, or steals it altogether. The world has so much fantasy, while a fun release it will not engage you like the destiny experience. CoD - stop, just stop. :) :) Open for a friendly debate!!!!!!!

41 Repliesactally some games already do this or will do this. if destiny does it ill vote for Morgan freeman
-
6 RepliesIm going to vote no, we have a government in real life we have to deal with, dont want one in-game where we try to get away from everything.
-
3 RepliesIf people cared enough yes. But there will be plenty of people that start playing and ask "Why the Hell should I have to do what he says?" Because of the fact it's a game. Especially the open world aspect would make it to hard to have gamers be taking care of all of it. So even if you did set this up most people would just ignore "The Government" you'd set up. Next issue would be people abusing their power if 'elected'. Sure they can be kicked from their office, but before that they could cause major grief.
-
11 RepliesExcellent idea. We can have a two party/clan system, with all issues worked out in a pvp arena. I guess that would be aggressive negotiations.
-
9 RepliesNo, your alright
-
5 RepliesNo poll?
-
10 RepliesWay too complicated. It would cause so much grief, and Destiny really isn't going to be the kind of game that this would work for.
-
7 RepliesWhat do you propose for the citizens of the city? What would set you apart from those who would campaign against you?
-
I won't let this go without a battle. Lol
