I wonder how many ppl at Bungie knew that killing Destiny for an extraction shooter was a dumb idea, but kept their mouth shut because they were afraid of losing their job.
Nobody can take constructive criticism anymore because they instantly get offended, and the person giving the criticism is labeled as creating a toxic work environment, it’s slowing killing everything. There was a time when we used to just speak our minds, this helped ppl realize and learn from mistakes.
There’s a time to be positive and a time to be negative, ppl need to learn balance, while others need to realize they’re not the centre of the universe and the rest of us aren’t just here to make them feel warm and fuzzy inside at all times.

I don't think the people who made these decisions cared about the long term health of the franchise or the company. They only cared about manipulating the numbers to sell off the company and then waiting for their stock to mature. Then they bailed. The people left never had a say in the matter.

1 ReplyI've never understood how toxic positivity became so prominent in gaming. Or maybe I was just that naive when it came to gaming seeing all the franchises I play now get these weird cult like fans is so strange. Marathon is hosed much like how D2 eroded because criticism is bad now.

1 ReplyI been patient. After 1k hrs played I still cannot make progress past Renagades mission 2. It's been months now and the bug is know. Bungie can fu*k right off, I will never give this company a penny again at this point

6 RepliesWhat I think sucks about strikes is all the sword-skating, speedrunning sweatlords who forget that they're not playing solo.

I agree with your sentiment but there is also a lot of forced negativity. Especially for content creators who are rage baiting constantly knowing they can manipulate the unhappy Destiny player base. Yes there’s needs to be balance - but that works both ways.
