so id love to see this game get back to a place where it cared about the players and the experience of the game but i cant see that happening when you are being handed your -blam!- by a 20 year old game with an average of 10k players on at a time. the trend i am seeing via counts is the next This Week At Destiny should be telling us of game servers being brought offline. marathon is a thing yes we know and many dont give half a darn about it dont push it onto your player base if you call it twid keep it to destiny -blam!- that or go back to twab. side note from a person with 20 years customer service and -blam!- relations the perceived apathy to the concerns of d2 from the player base will cost you more than player count. yall need to do better the lingering silence screams at the lack of leadership and accountability on the public facing front. own the failures and short comings and show real actions at change great companies that show this and you can learn from are Grinding gear games and path of exile one and two and Dungeons and dragons online(20 year old game with higher player count than d2 right now ) i really hope the next TWID or at the latest the one after has meaningful info or you wont have players come june update

Edited by Northern: 3/6/2026 9:55:20 PMDestiny is done! Instead, Bungie went all in on a mediocre extraction shooter thats already struggling. The maladministration at Bungie is absolutely staggering. Sony bought a complete clown show.

2 RepliesHow is it sad? Completely different games, completely different demographics. Candy crush has more daily players than your top 3 combined.

2 RepliesI think one of the biggest problems in destiny is FOMO. No content should have been removed People shouldn't have been boosted to a new power every expansion Each expansion should have had its own level cap that never changes. The only thing that DOES change in PL is the activities in said expansion. Activities in said expansion get you to 535 and raid is set at 540 and grants 550 gear for example. People would be able to play at their own pace.
