Legacy Armor
As of the patch notes for Destiny 2 update 9.0.0.1, the following change was made to Xur, "Xûr will not sell Legendary Armor in The Edge of Fate; Legacy Armor Sets that Xûr previously sold have been moved to Ada-1."
From what I've seen over the last 8 months is that this is untrue. While Ada-1 does sell most of the sets Xur used to, I have yet to see the Opulent sets from the Menagerie(probably spelled that wrong). The Opulent Scholar set is the only one I'm missing pieces for and I've logged in every reset for 8 months for the chance to get it, and it never shows up. She's gone through her entire rotation multiple times, so I either missed it the few weeks I didn't get on, or the patch notes were wrong. I just wanna remake my D1 Warlock plz.

1 ReplyA lot of the sets weren't moved over. I believe they made a mistake when they were typing that note and it was meant to only say 'moved some sets' over or 'moved seasonal sets over'. Her armor pool is currently world drop armor + seasonal armor (season 12 onwards) For example a list of other sets that didn't move over are:: - Gensym - Forged Machinist / Annealed Shaper / Woven Firesmith - Midnight Exigent / Abhorrent Imperative / Yuga Sundown - Simulator - Anti-Extinction - Sovereign - Lost Pacific - Kairos Function None of the above sets appear in her loot pool currently, so none of them are possible drops until Bungie eventually add them.

1 ReplyEdited by BNGHelp15: 3/3/2026 7:23:16 PMHey there, That patch note is about where those legacy sets live now (moved off Xûr and into Ada-1’s pool), not that every set will appear on a short, fixed rotation. Ada-1 pulls from a pretty big legacy armor pool, and there’s no public schedule, so it’s unfortunately normal for specific sets like the Opulent Scholar set to go many months without showing up. A couple things you can check: If you’ve ever owned any Opulent Scholar pieces on that Warlock, look in Collections - Armor and see if they’re unlocked there. If so, you can reacquire them directly for transmog, even if Ada never sells them again. If they’re not in Collections, that means they were never unlocked on that account, and you’d have to keep waiting on Ada-1’s RNG rotation (or watch community rotation trackers).
