I’m Supposed to be excited for Marathon with Destiny’s State?
They have already proven that they can’t handle 2 games (they could barely handle the one)
I’m supposed to be excited for Marathon after they torched Destiny and left 90% of its player base pissed off.
Based on their current history, I know when Marathon ships and they decide to put focus back into the Destiny IP, Marathon is also going to suffer just like Destiny is now.
Is that really the cycle we have to look forward to cause dang.
Meanwhile Embark’s able to juggle their two games perfectly! I tried Arc Raiders and it wasn’t for me personally, but I’m still having a blast with the Finals. Both games have their player bases and both are doing great.
Embark is the new segsy girlfriend I think

I agree with everything, but it’s definitely a lot easier to manage a PvPvE extraction shooter or a PvP arena shooter than a live-service PvE game (with a side note of pvp) . PvP naturally sustains replayability, while PvE tends to get stale once players solve the AI and optimize around it. Arc is great; but there is zero reason to hunt the bigger bots as they're not challenging with a full kit and there's no incentive.
