We have a delayed TWID and all the info we got from it was the good old egregiously long player support report and some game2give stuff that we've all seen a thousand times
Where's the roadmap, Where's any of the useful info

Here is all the most reliable info about next expansion. Atmosphere and Environment Old Chicago: its depicted as a decayed, waterlogged urban landscape where the Great Lakes (specifically Lake Michigan) have been chemically and ecologically altered more than any other place on Earth. featuring an ominous, horror-inspired tone with skyscrapers half-submerged in marshes and a labyrinthine sewer system. The Seared Tower: The iconic Sears Tower (now the "SEARED Tower") remains a landmark, where a figure (Leon?) resides. Locations & Gameplay Adams and Wabash Station: This specific underground station is a focal point where a mysterious entity has been attempting to communicate with Lodi. The Department of External Observations (DEO): The headquarters of this Golden Age organization (where Lodi and Ikora Rey previously worked) is located here. It was a top-secret facility for studying anomalies and alien technology, including gravity-based weaponry like the Graviton Lance. The Labyrinth: A series of tombs and crypts beneath the city streets where a "lost and maddened beast" (possibly an Aphelion) is said to hunt. Narrative Significance Binding the Nine: The primary objective in Chicago is to retrieve an "alien body" or essence hidden underground by the DEO to begin the process of binding the first member of The Nine to a physical form. Factions: While the Hive are expected to be the primary threat, there are heavy hints of Taken or Scorn presence as the entity "Every nothing" seeks to infest the decaying planet.

Edited by jmann43b: 1/22/2026 11:03:48 PMSince there's over a month until Shadow and Order plus another 3 months (I think?) after that, I'd guess they're trying to get everything in shape before the next big reveal. At least, I would with a half-year window but then I'm also pretty bad about procrastinating so I'm probably not the ideal person to speak on such things.

I doubt we will see a roadmap for several weeks. Given player numbers and the fact Bungie’s attention is clearly elsewhere, there might well be thoughts that anything beyond the expansions already planned for this year are up in the air. At what point do Sony and Bungie decide not to pursue Destiny as an IP? When does the cost of producing the game outweigh the revenue it makes? Perhaps the roadmap hinges on Marathon and whether Sony still see Bungie as a viable studio on their own , or need to take drastic steps regarding the future. I’d stop worrying about the roadmap, and ask myself whether Bungie are going to be around to fulfil one?

I for one am just happy to see so far that no nerfs are being brought out ,hope they dont too games fun for the most part atm except how miserable the difficulty is for pinnacle armor . Il take any news aslong as its not nerfs ,only nerf I wouldn't bat my eyelid over is If they did something about void chunking
