Not just a buff, it needs a full overhaul. There’s enough ways to suspend as-is, a tiny ‘trap’ that requires 6 kills/precision hits, AND relies on enemies walking into it just doesn’t fit into the current sandbox. My initial thought was to give it the Hierarchy of Needs treatment, but even then all you’re doing is suspending targets with no real means to kill them afterwards, at a less effective rate than most other sources of suspend.
It needs to be made interesting and fun, not just sitting back and plinking their heads to get a suspend trap once in a while.

Edited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 1/22/2026 3:15:47 PMInstead of a floor trap only it should set said trap on ANY surface, also when fired it should look like you're shooting a net out (special animation, slow to show the net look yknow, not the same speed as an arrow shot speed obviously) to ensnare a target, unless you shoot a surface, in which case it bolts itself to the surface FOREVER BUNGIE (current trap timer is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD, way too short) until an enemy passes by (net trap disappears if you shoot out a new one). Also no more crit hits for the love of the Traveler bungie, make it body shots for 1, crit for more. Who at bungie that made this only thought of making it work w/ the ground lmao..

Honestly, keep the trap but if it scores a direct hit on a target, have it emit a suspending burst around the target.

1 ReplyI agree what has been said here. One of the things they could do is to lean on the "needles" idea. Like a Tangle explosion but pointy bits.

1 ReplyEdited by TonnoSenpai: 1/22/2026 9:11:48 AMimo, a good rework would be asking 3 precision hit and the 3rd precision hit will spawn a suspend nade with a huge range near the target location and buff the dmg vs suspend targets

I would be happy with a damage boost to bows in general.
