This is a genuine question.
The 1st card is essentially trials “quick play” while the second one is more akin to trials with you being able to go to the lighthouse.
I assumed that the first card would be great for new players and people who aren’t the best at PVP to be able to earn trials gear and not have to worry about getting destroyed due to the low stakes. While the lighthouse card is for the high elo, basement dwelling, ego on their sleeve players who play this game like a job. Makes sense right?
Well, no. This doesn’t work for 3 reasons:
1. Going flawless means next to nothing these days. you get showered in loot anyways so what’s the point of going to the lighthouse when you’re just gonna get the same amount tier of loot of losing 3 games in a row? What a great way to take all of the shimmer and shine of all the “endgame” loot lmao.
2. Because someone plays the game way too much, like me, can just hop in the playlist and absolutely DUMPSTER teams for hours. Look at my weekly KD if you think I’m full of it. I’m not the greatest player of all time, but the games are so easy I got bored after only 7 games.
3. The trials player count is already pretty small, why split them up?
At the end of the day, who cares, but I just thought I’d put my two cents in.
