... I never liked either idea .. said so then .. and it's apparent now.

It was a garbage idea then and is now. They know it's terrible, but it's all about retention.

2 RepliesIn one Season alone, we've made Tonics, cookies, and now bento boxes. Bungie really is not helping the argument that this game feels like working a full time job at times.

2 RepliesI don’t like pushing the tumbleweeds, but I get it. The tonics? 😒 Said it before and I’ll say it again. This ain’t no DnD. This is a looter 1st person shooter. Sick of tonics, tablets, builds, ect. I just want to shoot crap and use my powers every now and then.

I totally quit dealing with potions when [i]tomb flakes[/i] became a thing where we get them from one activity and you can run it 5 times (wimpy, fast mode) and maybe get 2 and that's completing all objectives even if you have to hold back on killing the mini-boss to wait for an objective to appear. Yep - NOPE!!! I refuse to deal with potions anymore because why????? Just give us crafting back and NEVER do crap like this again else I'll stop playing - opps to late, did that too!

Went so well I never started act 3, no exotic mission, just not interested.

It went over like a screen door on a submarine because none of the tonics worked for the majority of the season.

1 ReplyTumble weeds? What are you walking about? I know about tonics, but they seem broken, Have no idea how many new tonics I earned and can't get field work cause i never have enough new tonics. No rhyme or reason to earning A new one, made dozens, actually hundreds and still don't have enough new recipes. So I just stopped trying. Tonics another poorly implemented and never explained feature of the game. Zero information on how you earn new ones, zero tracking capability, nothing. BROKEN!

Hopefully potions goes away with this episode and it's NEVER implemented again.
