Been wanting a attachable pack that goes on the back of controller. I've heard though it could lead to a ban. However xbox elite controllers have them. Is there a difference? Mostly been wanting to program an extra button for throwing hammer.

You won’t get banned for it but you’ll need to drill a bit ti get used ti them.

Honestly, I find built-ins a bit more reliable than the packs - but I also haven’t used one in 5-6 years…. They don’t add buttons, they just let you map current buttons to those spots. They’re a bit too common (especially among the more competitive community) to really ban. They also fall under accessibility tools. They’re a bit try-hard and can help you multitask better, but they’re far from something like Xim or Chronus. They’re still controllers.

As much as i know there are no controllers that add buttons. All of those controllers with back buttons are “replacement” for the normal buttons. For example you would have back button for X and the normal for X which both will do the same thing in game.

GameSir has a fantastic controller with 2 buttons and Hall effect sticks and triggers. I’ve had mine for about 6 months now. Best part is it’s relatively cheap $50 bad part is it’s wired but a 10ft removable cable. GameSir G7 SE check it out on Amazon

I wouldn’t go for one of those. They are pretty sussy and rather pricey. I would instead work something out with the keybinds. Or play claw or even buy a cheap ish wired pro controller
