It's just crazy how high up and close to the camera my gun is. Like, with some guns, they take up half the screen when I'm sprinting. I actively avoid using a lot of guns because they make me feel way too close to the screen.

I can see a rocket launcher or heavy grenade launcher blocking our field of view but the stalk of a rifle shouldn’t be blocking your view to use said rifle. If a primary weapon has a huge model it shows severe inefficiency compared to a heavy weapon that’s smaller in size.

One weapon this greatly effects is Revision Zero. We spent like 8 months last season with anti-barrier sidearms, so I just bypassed that by having Revision Zero on the entire time. And it seemed to fill 1/3 to 1/2 of my screen depending on the action, like sprinting. They really should reduce all weapon sizes if they take up a certain % of screen size.

There’s occasionally a bug that occurs where the camera zooms in hard on a hunter’s boot when inspecting a hunter (yours or other players).

There was a lot of time taken designing that weapon. You will look at it!! Unless you dump it in the vault because it takes up 1/4 of the screen. 🤔 Seriously though, you do make a good point.

1 ReplyCertain weapons are simply horrible for it, most notably Hung Jury and its many forms of Omolon Scout Rifles, but this Season's Stasis Auto Rifle is particularly bad. It is enough that I will purposely not use them even if it is a good weapon, because much like my distaste for 3rd Person Shooters, I prefer not to have a quarter of my screen blocked by a model. This is something the design team needs to address, if a weapon takes up over an 1/8th of the screen then it is far too large. They like to call it "hip firing" but it clearly is against our shoulder.

I don't understand the point of downvoting posts like this. You may not find it helpful but I would
