Again, Destiny is NOT a PvP focused game.
It is both, both pve and pvp are equally important in destiny

Equally? Not in the slightest. Destiny would die without PvE but it would surely survive without PvP. I even think it would become a better game, considering that Bungie wouldn't have to think about PvP impact when creating new gear and content. But that's just my opinion, others may differ.

Half these nerfs we keep eating might actually not have happened…. Of course there is the chance that other things get nerfed…..

Yeah, I don't know. I think Destiny does need both, albeit it needs substantially more PVE than PVP. I just find myself going to PVP more when I've done most of what PVE has to offer. Like, I can do GMs over and over to get a gun I want, to then do what with? Use in more GMs? Personally, once I'm getting into end game content, I start looking at loot more so for it's PVP potential, rather than how I can use it to do what I just did. PVE at a certain point is static in the challenges it presents, so I think you need PVP for some longevity. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I believe I would've lost interest in PVE a long time ago if there was no possibility to compete with the loot I earned.

That, as many people will freely admit, is why there are other games. If Bungie didn't enable so much FOMO, folks wouldn't feel the need for staying in too long causing burnout and hatred for certain modes. There are flaws with every single way we can imagine looking at the issues. The game in it's current state tries to be too many things to too many people. It all boils down to a corporate need for greed. Not specifically a Bungie thing though. Its the gaming industry as a whole. But let's not go there, I haven't the nerves nor the time to digress. I gotta go make dinner.
