How long can 1 dungeon be fun for really? 5-6 runs at the most?
What are you going to do with Gally? Run the same stuff you're running now, only with Gally? How long will that be fun for?
What are you going to farm Eyesluna and Longbow for? They are PvP weapons. So, are you going to grind for them and play pvp? Will they make pvp better? The peer to peer, cross play lag, terrible lobby balancing and matchmaking. What will these 2 guns do exactly?
I mean, who in the right mind is actually excited about this? Nothing is going to change.

Considering I have 110 Prophecy completions thanks to grinding the TotN weapons, quite a few
-
The price tag was 'unfortunate' but I am looking forward to it. I will be grinding for pvp weapons and the thorn stuff.. not fussed about ghally - would have much rather have icebreaker back (even if disabled in pvp completely).
-
definatly not worth it, cost almost triple the price of a season, bought it anyway, i didnt play d1 and i wanted gally. but now i cant afford WQ
-
I'll wait to see what all of the stuff that's included in the bundle before buying. I'm okay with buying Dungeons as long as they're an okay price, and $31.99 (CDN) seems a bit much. I know there are cosmetics too, but damn that's still more some full expansions cost. Like... Bloodborne: The Old Hunters is $26.99 and it's one of the most incredible DLCs I've ever played.

Excited to play new dungeon, not happy bout the price tag, don’t care that much bout gally, anything could’ve come back and I’d be simply a little interested in using a weapon That I haven’t in a while. I think shattered throne and pit of heresy and also prophecy are dungeons, presage - though amazing- does not feel like a dungeon nor does harbinger. Also bring back zero hour it was cool af and Trevor is too good to be vaulted

Edited by AT_Safijiiva: 11/23/2021 10:46:22 AMNot really, 1 dungeon, some cosmetic gear, old guns and an exotic rocket launcher from 7 years ago. Not worth my time or money.

Edited by ImOnlyBleeding: 11/23/2021 4:48:00 PMYeah, I'm looking forward to it. Not sure if it will be worth the purchase price for everyone, but between the dungeon, the new 6-man activity, gjally, and all the legendary gear being added (or brought back), there is enough there for me to be entertained for a while to fill in the gap before Witch Queen.
-
Yeah lol $30 for this garbage or $30 for the ENTIRE definitive edition of the Mafia Trilogy? That and Halo. Not to mention all the other huge sales on way better games. Yeah, in uninstalling Destiny. Maybe I'll install it come end of February.
-
Are you forgetting that one dungeon and an exotic has kept us going for months in the past? And that was exotic was ruinous effigy.
-
I play destiny, I enjoy destiny, so yes I'm looking forward to it.
-
I guess I am. I need my friends to get on when it drops but when they see it cost money they’ll go back to halo If destiny cared about pvp this game would be top 5 game
-
Nope.

Personally, I won't be buying the 30th Anniversary DLC until next week. If you feel that a company's focus is not to your liking, then just leave. It's OK; no one will judge you for exercising your right to do something else.
-
I just like shooting things with new guns, that being said, I won’t log many hours until a decent activity gets added. Literally every seasonal activity has not interested me

Edited by DeathPony07: 11/23/2021 7:46:38 AMI did until the had to -blam!- with ability cooldowns and ruin exotics again.

Oh my God, this is the first time I've seen them actually unlock a thread. I'm not even sure why it was locked in the first place. If I had to guess, people down in the thread we're just toxic.. or the mod initially jumped the gun.

Edited by Howiepenguin: 11/23/2021 10:49:34 AMI completely understand your cynicism. I have had spouts of it all throughout Destiny's lifespan, especially when D2 dropped in such a terrible state and all the things that they did before Forsaken to try to keep it afloat due to the heavy emphasis on trying to make it a competitive PvP shooter (Thanks Activision /s). But they are honestly trying to make the game better so what I would say is wait and see how it is and if it is not worth your time that is all good. Taking a break from a game that is ran as a service is a healthy thing to do as once you feel "caught up" and feel that there is nothing else for you to do then don't feel obligated to continue playing until you feel like you want to play again. Edit: and I know that certain things get vaulted down the line but waiting long enough to come back means there is way more content to catch up on rather than consuming it right out the gate only to have nothing left to do again.

Not really

1 ReplyNot overwhelmed with enthusiasm for the Anniversary pack. In all honesty I have only bought it as I will realistically be engaging with next year's dlc. With the way Bungie have priced everything I have just mopped it up along with next year's content. Not sure what that says about me but that is my honest answer.

No, which is sad. I’ll wait and see what it’s like. I disagree with it in principal, it’s like charging people money to come to your birthday party. Gally will release hot, will have a low drop rate and will be nerfed just as the majority of players squire it. This is the way.
-
Dungeons are my favorite type of content to run, so yeah I'm pretty excited. I also didn't set my expectations our of proportion.
-
No. I really don't. =)
-
#1… I’m sure Gally will be very strong and they may even add a RL mod to the artifact next season since we are due. # 2 The cosmetics it comes with are pretty sick looking. I personally wish they would do preorders only so we could see how much people really “ don’t care “ when all of the items are in the game but they won’t. Also… it’s $30 on the game I play the most so -blam!- it
-
I don't know. I'll probably be playing Halo. And other games that my friends and family will give me for Christmas. By the way, they never gift me any Destiny content. They know it's not worth it. Just saying.
