People who defend cbmm basically want others to improve and get better, but there's a problem
Being constantly matched against teams that are way above your skill leave no room for improvement, matches should never end in a mercy but they do anyways. This is what they have a problem understanding, getting matched with equal or slightly better skilled players allows improvement, little timmy being matched against a 6 stack of gilded unbrokens does not

Couple of things 1.
Being constantly matched against teams that are way above your skill leave no room for improvement
This is both false and statistically impossible unless you're amongst the worst of the worst. 2.
matches should never end in a mercy but they do anyways
Probably not, but mercies happen for many reasons. If 2 teams are relatively equal skill and 1 team completely ignores zones in a control match, they'll get mercied. And this happens way way way too often. Take a look at the iron banner posts. Plenty of people admitting to outright ignoring the objectives
If 2 teams are relatively equal skill ... in a control match, they'll get mercied.
This is completely wrong, if the teams are if equal skill the match will not end in a mercy, it'll either be a close match or the match will be ended by the 10 minute timer. Mercy games happen mainly because the teams are absurdly unbalanced or a team forgot that they were playing control and not clash Now the thing about how being how being against teams way above your skill leaves no room for improvement, explain to me how getting into a match where it ends 20-80 allows room for improvement when the match doesn't even last more than 4 minutes

Lol wtf dude? How are you gonna quote me, edit out an essential point of that quote and then restate the exact same point as if youre making it?
Mercy games happen mainly because the teams are absurdly unbalanced or a team forgot that they were playing control and not clash
This is literally the point I made.

Do you not know what '...' is used for when quoting something? Anyways you're being ignorant about the main reason why mercy games happen and its not because people didn't play the objective, I'm still waiting for a good reason why one team being absurdly better than the other isn't a cause of mercy games

Can you just reread the last few comments please. I can't, the topic isn't that complicated Just reread the last few comments and we can continue
-
And it isn't complicated that getting stomped all the time won't make someone improve
-
yup and then little timmy never goes back into pvp
