Competitive Crucible - Glory Tuning

Today (3/5/19 - 2:15 PM Pacific), we've deployed a change to Destiny 2 that will re-tune the amount of Glory Rank points gained and lost in the competitive crucible playlist. Compared to previous seasons, Glory gains and losses have been effectively doubled.
Our goal in this change is to make the ranked playlist more inviting to a larger amount of players. This means more access to pinnacle weapons, higher ranks, and more people to compete against at those higher ranks.
As always, we’ll be monitoring feedback over this change.

8 RepliesPlease go back to the drawing board and re tune! I player for about three hours today and ended back at almost zero! You gotta give some help to solo players. I can’t even get close to fabled and that’s all I need to do for Luna’s Howl and the community has locked out most solos unless you get extremely lucky and get on good teams every game. I can’t find one team to pick me up unless I pay them. I tried all last season and could t get there. So frustrated!

2 RepliesThat does nothing for the average player as win streaks are still vital for progression. Solo queuers and casuals will avoid competitive entirely. Player base is thin as it is and you already have plenty competitive activities such as gambit - two modes of it! Your pvp dev team is utterly incompetent.

1 Reply1. Dont make a quest for pinnacle weapons unless it demands you do it in quickplay. 2. Make individual skill a factor in glory rank. Ex: you get 30 points for winning and another 10 for getting a 15 kill streak. 3. Remove win streaks until fabled but add like a placement system, if you get 30 kills every game in your placements you will be put into 1800 or something like that.

You now get roughly 80 points for a win. Almost 200 at 5 streak. And you lose 60. Damn...

1 ReplyThis sounds like a great change, as win streaks will be a lot more significant. I really wish you would change the system that gives you diminishing points as you get to higher ranks as well. The challenge should be facing better opponents, not getting less point, in my opinion at least. Overall I am happy with this change though. Gg bungie👏

Comp should be skill based match making. Comp only. That is the only way you can fix the problem of a four stack of recovs chasing everyone out of comp that wants to play to get better. Jeez do you think about the problems or just throw shit out to make it look like you care. Lies bungo and deception

People with bad connections will be punished in their play and won’t hurt people with good connections. gun skill and pvp knowledge would be at full display and more people would play

While i searching comp match i had a error massage. It says you leave competitive match and its give me auto lose -60 point. Fck you World Systems Team!

Remove rank requirements from pinnacle weapons. With removing the rank requirements and making the weapons long quests that can only be completed in the comp playlist it will get a lot more people playing. This way even bad players can slowly work to earn the guns. For legend players and players that reach fabled add special emblems, emotes, shaders and weapon ornaments. The points changes are a good step to get people in but as yall can see a lot people say thay still wont play because they dont think they can get any of the weapons.

6 RepliesIt would be better to keep a loss at 30 points lost, and a win at 60 points gained, that would be a lot more inviting in my opinion. Keep the winning streak mechanic and the losing streak the same as the previous season.

1 ReplyI would love to play but I keep getting stacked against Luna's and not forgotten in my first game change that maybe, I never bother with the play list because it keeps happening. Like you can't get 1 win with that
