D1 Thorn had point loss during the original Exotic Bounty. Depending on your class, it was either easy or painful. Being a Warlock, it was easy for me. Voidwalker Atheons Epilogue Void Light/Beware Void Swarm All my kills were Void. 0.3 kd would make progress LMAO. TLW quest doesnt even ask you to be competant, it just asks you to not be a complete and utter horror show.

All the d2 guns you mentioned are pvp guns.

I don’t know where you got your information about the thorn quest but most of it is bull shit 2014 thorn quest Kill 356 hive to achieve a score of 500 Kill 356 guardians in the crucible to get a score of 500 Then the strike mission that you mention Unfortunately that’s about as much as I can remember but it wasn’t as what you stated unless you referring to the taken king version

2 RepliesEdited by Shockwave 989: 2/12/2019 10:16:42 AMLast word you need a K.D above 0.5 to progress. Assists do nothing to my knowledge Luna's only loss mechanic is tied to the Glory system as a pinnacle weapon. If being an idiot and stacking 15 motes only to die for Malfeasance is setting you back a lot, don't do it you damn moron. 5-10 max, bank at every opportunity instead of hanging on to them Ace of Spades has no loss mechanic Also, original Thorn; Complete The Summoning Pits on the Moon. Earn 500 points by killing Hive enemies on the Moon. A normal enemy is worth 1 point, a Major is worth 20, and an Ultra is worth 50. Use Void Damage to defeat Guardians in the Crucible. Death will slow your progress. Requires 500 points. 5 points are gained per kill, 2 lost per death (meaning that progress is made as long as the average ratio of void kills to deaths is sustained above 0.4). Kills must be made with a weapon or skill that does Void damage. Assists do not count. Obtain an Infusion of Light from The Speaker. This will cost one Mote of Light. Talk to Ikora Rey. Kill Xyor, the Unwed. Xyor is found in a level 26 instance of The Summoning Pits that is only available while this phase of the bounty is active. The Epic modifier is enabled, and matchmaking is not used. Phogoth must be damaged enough to trigger waves of enemies but not killed until Xyor appears. She is included in the enemies dropped by the third Tombship. Return to The Speaker to claim Thorn. Actual babies

2 RepliesIs that Y3 thorn? Because Y1 Thorn had way more steps
-
Err are you talking about year 3 thorn quest? Because year 1 certainly had a loss mechanic and was a lot harder than these d2 quests were
-
The D1 Thorn did have point loss, during the void kill portion. It was especially awful when playing as a Titan or Hunter, seeing as Titans only had grenades/melee and guns, and Hunters only had guns. It also felt pretty severe back then, I’m pretty sure the points were like 3 a kill, and 2 back a death. Assists didn’t count either, if I’m not mistaken.
