Then don't use the strategy. Simple as that. Other people doing it doesn't impact you. At all.

They already addressed this. They do not consider cluster bombs a cheese. It requires certain loadouts, character selections and power level to achieve the damage you need in 1 phase. They also said the didnt consider the 1 phase on the ogre (shotgun at leg, or whisper spam) a cheese either. They did say that cheesing kali by bugging out all the enemies was broken, and that was/will be fixed. So, in summary, this doesnt appear to have an adjustment coming, so keeping counting those weeks.

I'm 600 and still have not done the raid. It's mostly due to avoiding toxic players but also lazy ones who would rather trivialize content and procede to complain on the forums about things being too easy.

So how would they Fix the Strat? Nerfing Rockets: Would be the easiest fix for Bungie and if you've ever played D1 Bungie loved to nerf things. So why not make another useless weapon. But wait The Thousand Voices can do the same damage as cluster rockets. So what now make the rarest exotic absolutely garbage also? Increasing Riven Health: Another semi easy fix I'd assume. If people can't do Riven the way it was "Desinged" how would the casual raiders be able to complete it? Sure some one like me who can deal 4m can do the mechanics but I have to find 5 randoms that also can do 4m which is extremely rare. So making the raids more inaccessible for more people. Removing Debuffs: Would Ruin Melting Point, Shattering Strike to uselessness and making the Tractor Cannon just a waste of an exotic. Also you don't need debuffs to 1 phase her. So it seems to me you want the raid more inaccessible for players and/weapons nerfed to uselessness.

Do you know that only 1.19% of the community playing Destiny has beaten the Last Wish Raid?! Even with the cluster bomb strategy many are still struggling. If the percentage of clears jumped high after this was discovered then I could see Bungie changing the raid dynamic. I have completed the Last Wish Raid and have found that doing it with the legit mechanics is far easier than the cluster bomb strategy. Do I complain that some are completing it in a less involved way? No! Because I am one of the 1.19% snowflakes that have beaten this raid. I have no complaint. I still see many struggle no matter what strategy they use.

Question? Exactly what loot are u getting from killing riven? Last I checked there's still another encounter afterwards. If your idea of a key free loot you can just wish for one. I guess skipping 80% of the entire raid with one wish is a cheese too huh

Hey guys since we're all arguing the semantics of the word cheese here I found something as close to a definition as one could find. Now this is subjective but I found almost the same description everywhere else so here it is: "verb (used with object), cheesed, chees·ing. (in a game, especially a video game) to win (a battle round) by using a strategy that requires minimal skill and knowledge or that exploits a glitch or flaw in game design: He cheesed the fight by trapping his enemy in the environment and attacking without taking damage." It exploits a flaw in the game design. (Clearly they didn't make all these mechanics with the intention of having them all skipped, the fight is flawed and we're exploiting that flaw.) It requires very little skill (you stand in a circle and shoot rockets, maybe two people have to hit a Melee... not hard I've done cluster strat as well). So I would say without a doubt this is a cheese. I know that must hurt some of your feelings. Call it a strat if you want but the term "cheese strat" has also been used in many games so yeah I guess it is form of "strat" lmao. You guys seem more defensive and butthurt than those who want it fixed. It's like you're trying to protect your pride like you think you actually did something difficult here. Legit almost all of the other encounters are far more difficult than the cheese strat and normally the final boss should be by far the most difficult (and it is if you do the mechanics.) Again don't get me wrong I've cheesed too I'm just being honest with myself. I just didn't feel super accomplished whenever I beat it that way and those who do want it fixed are entitled to that opinion. It would be more fun if everyone got really good at doing it with the mechanics. Sadly that will likely never happen as it likely won't be fixed at least until it's too late.

It’s a strat, not an exploit or cheese. If you stop being butthurt over what other people do life gets alot easier. Play how you want to play and let others be. It’s barely any different to one phasing any other raid boss. People have leveled up now and are enjoying the fruits of their labour.
